の返りの破片が次工程で脱落し、鋼板の疵となる問題が
あった。また切削の場合には固定バイトのためバイトの
一部分に負担が集中し焼付けが発生し、バイト寿命が短
いという問題があった。

除去することができるため、トリマーによる鋼板の切断
面の形状の許容範囲が広がり、サイドトリマーの刃替え
間隔を延ばし、刃替えに必要なライン休止時間を削減出
来、且つ砥石寿命が大幅に延び砥石の購入コストが削減
出来るという顕著な効果を奏する。
