By the way, in the conventional lamp control device, as described above, for example, the lamp for the backlight of the liquid crystal display deteriorates rapidly unless it is used under the optimum conditions, and the display is deteriorated. Since the density becomes darker, the user can adjust the light amount by themselves, but since it can only be adjusted within a fixed fixed range, it can be adjusted to the range the user wants to adjust when the lamp deteriorates. There was a problem that the range was shifted, and the usability for the user deteriorated.

When the lamp is turned on, the light quantity of the lamp 1 is detected by the light quantity detecting means 3, the light quantity information is A / D converted (analog-digital conversion), and then sent to the control means 7. Similarly, the ambient temperature of the lamp 1 is detected by the temperature detection means 4, the temperature information is A / D converted, and then sent to the control means 7. Further, the light quantity adjusting circuit 5 has the user input the density information desired by the user in digital quantity, and sends the information to the control means 7. Then, the control means 7 calculates the optimum condition of the lamp 1 based on the above three information, sends the control information to the lamp drive circuit 2 according to the result, and drives the lamp 1 by the information.
