2. Description of the Related Art Rubber adhesives and acrylic adhesives are widely used as adhesives used in patches and the like. However, in both rubber-based adhesives and acrylic-based adhesives, water vapor permeability and water absorbency are poor, and when used as a medical patch, for example, perspiration from the skin does not sufficiently radiate, so the skin is irritated. It was easy to get a rash. Therefore, techniques for making the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer porous or increasing the water vapor permeability of the base material sheet have been adopted as means for improving this problem, but they have not been sufficiently effective.

Therefore, a polyvinyl alcohol-based water-soluble hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive having improved water absorption of the pressure-sensitive adhesive itself and gradually reducing skin irritation has been developed. this is,
It is composed of polyvinyl alcohol having an average degree of polymerization of 30 to 600 and a degree of saponification of 40 to 85 mol% and a water-soluble plasticizer (see JP-A-4-63886).

However, as in the prior art described in the above publication, the water absorption of the adhesive,
If the hygroscopicity is increased, on the contrary, the cohesive force of the pressure-sensitive adhesive will decrease with time, and a sufficient strength of the adhesive force will not be obtained. There was a problem of thinking.

The polyvinyl alcohol used in the present invention has a degree of polymerization of 50 to 250.
It is preferably 0 and the degree of saponification is 20 to 100 mol%.
When the degree of polymerization is less than 50, it is difficult to maintain the cohesiveness of the obtained pressure-sensitive adhesive, and when it exceeds 2,500, the solubility in heating and the solubility in a solvent tend to decrease, which is not practical. If the saponification degree is 20 mol% or less, the hydrophilicity is lowered and the intended purpose cannot be achieved.

The compounding ratio of (meth) acrylic acid (salt) in the copolymer of (meth) acrylic acid (salt) and N-vinylacetamide used in the present invention is 5 mol%.
The above is preferable. If less than 5 mol%,
It is difficult to maintain the desired cohesive force during water absorption. Examples of the (meth) acrylic acid salt include sodium salts and potassium salts, and sodium salts are preferably used.

The amounts of these tackifying components to be blended cannot be unconditionally determined because the compatibility of the individual tackifying components and the two types of polymers described above is different. However, if the amount of the tackifying component is excessive, the cohesive force tends to decrease, and the coating film tends to bleed out, which is not suitable. On the other hand, when the tackifying component is insufficient, the tackiness is naturally low, and this is not suitable either. Therefore, it is necessary to experimentally determine the blending amount of each tackifying component while taking such a situation into consideration.

The patch obtained in each of the above Examples and Comparative Examples was subjected to an evaluation test on the skin of a living body. That is, a circular sample having a diameter of 2 cm was punched out from each of the three patches randomly selected from each of the patches of Examples and Comparative Examples, and the sample was attached to the inside of the upper arm of one adult male, and after 1 hour, "Peeling" and "paste residue" were evaluated. As a result, each of the examples was cleanly peeled off from the skin surface without any problems, but in the comparative example, the adhesive layer was cohesively destroyed, and most of the adhesive remained on the skin surface. .
