2. Description of the Related Art Generally, the body of automobiles, window frames, etc.
A so-called glittering decorative molding having a metallic luster is fitted as a decoration for improving aesthetics. Such a decorative molding is formed by attaching a decorative molding tape on the surface of a molding base material. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, there is a composite tape T obtained by laminating a polyester film c having a metal vapor deposition layer b on a polyvinyl chloride film a, and the composite tape T is used as a molding base material formed of a synthetic resin material or the like. After joining and bending so as to match a desired shape such as a window frame of an automobile, it is mounted at a predetermined position.

Since such a composite tape T needs to be bent strongly in a bending process for conforming to the shape of a window frame or the like, when the composite tape T is bent with a small radius, the metal tape has a relation of elongation ratio of the tape material. Since fine wrinkles may be generated in the vapor-deposited layer b, which may impair the aesthetic appearance as a decorative material, it requires a high degree of skill in the processing technique and has a drawback that the processed shape is restricted.

Therefore, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 3-21445 proposes a bright tape intended to prevent the formation of wrinkles in the metal vapor deposition layer. In this glitter tape, as described in the above publication, first, a metal deposition layer is applied to a smooth synthetic resin film such as a polyester film, and an ethylene-co-polymer resin layer is melted with respect to this metal deposition layer. Along with laminating, vinyl chloride sheets are laminated and pressure-bonded to the ethylene-co-polymer resin layer with an adhesive interposed. Then, by peeling off the smooth synthetic resin film, the metal vapor deposition layer is transferred onto the surface of the ethylene-co-polymer resin layer, and the transparent ionomer resin layer is polymer-pressed onto the surface of the transferred metal vapor deposition layer. To form a glitter tape.

However, in the above-described bright tape, since the metal vapor deposition layer itself after peeling the polyester film is very thin and weak, the metal vapor deposition layer moves due to the high temperature and pressure during extrusion molding, and the surface gloss is lost. The ethylene co-polymers, ionomers, and the like that adhere and polymerize on the surface side have a problem in that they contract due to aging and cause a loss of aesthetics.

Further, as shown in FIG. 4, a composite tape F using a fluororesin film d in place of the polyester film c of the composite tape T has been proposed. But,
The composite tape F has an advantage that it can be bent easily because the elongation rate of the fluororesin film d is high.
Excessive tension during extrusion in the manufacturing process
In some cases, minute cracks may occur in the metal vapor deposition layer b and the surface may be whitened, and the brightness of the produced composite tape F may be significantly reduced, and the appearance as a decorative material may be impaired. Therefore, since delicate control is required in the manufacturing process, the productivity is poor and the quality is apt to deteriorate.

The tape for a decorative molding of the present invention has a film having a metal vapor deposition layer bonded to a base film through a biaxially stretched synthetic resin film, so that it can be used for decoration during bending or extrusion. Even when various processing stresses are applied to the molding tape, the biaxially stretched synthetic resin film exerts an appropriate buffering effect, the processing stress does not adversely affect the metal deposition layer, and the whitening and wrinkles of the metal deposition layer occur. There is no occurrence. Therefore, the bending process and the extrusion process are facilitated, the productivity of the processing process is improved, and the complicated shape can be processed, so that the applicable range is expanded.

EXAMPLE FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a decorative molding tape A according to an example of the present invention. First, a method of manufacturing the decorative molding tape A will be described. As the base film 1, a polyvinyl chloride film having a thickness of 50 to 250 μm is used,
This substrate film 1 and a thickness of 3 to 3 formed by biaxial stretching
The polyester-based synthetic resin film 3 having a thickness of 25 μm is heated and bonded via the adhesive layer 2. The fluorine-based resin film 6 having the metal vapor deposition layer 5 formed thereon is bonded to the surface of the laminated polyester-based synthetic resin film 3 with the adhesive layer 4 between the polyester-based synthetic resin film 3 and the metal vapor deposition layer 5. Then, the tape A for decorative molding is formed by heating and bonding. The metal vapor deposition layer 2 has a thickness of 100 to 1000Å, and as the metal, aluminum, chromium, nickel, nickel chromium, titanium, or the like is used. Fluorine-based resin film 6 has a thickness of 2
It is an unstretched film of 5 to 75 μm. Base film 1
It is preferable to bond a film of the same quality that matches the molding base material on the other side to which the decorative molding tape A is bonded. The adhesive for the adhesive layers 2 and 4 is not particularly limited, but a polyester adhesive is preferable. The decorative molding tape A does not cause whitening of the metal vapor deposition layer 5 in the tape joining process, and when the decorative molding tape A was used to fabricate a decorative molding to be mounted on a window frame of an automobile, metal deposition was performed. A wrinkle did not occur in the layer 5 and it was possible to manufacture it very smoothly and to obtain a decorative molding having an excellent appearance. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the decorative molding tape B according to the embodiment of the present invention. To manufacture the tape B for a decorative molding, 50 to 2 as the base film 1 is used.
A polyvinyl chloride film having a thickness of 50 μm and a thickness of 3 to 25 μm formed by biaxially stretching the base film 1
The polyester-based synthetic resin film 3 having the above is bonded by heating via the adhesive layer 2. Next, a polyvinyl chloride film 8 having a thickness of 50 to 250 μm is further formed on the surface of the laminated polyester synthetic resin film 3.
Are heated and bonded via the polyester-based adhesive layer 7. Then, the polyvinyl chloride film 8 and the metal vapor deposition layer 5 are formed on the surface of the laminated polyvinyl chloride film 8 with the fluororesin film 6 having the metal vapor deposition layer 5 interposed therebetween via the urethane adhesive layer 4. To join
The decorative molding tape B is formed by heating and bonding. Similar to the decorative molding tape A, the decorative molding tape B does not cause whitening of the metal vapor deposition layer 2 in the tape joining process, and various decorative moldings for automobiles were produced using the same. The metal vapor deposition layer 2 did not become wrinkled due to wrinkles and could be manufactured extremely smoothly, and a decorative molding having an excellent appearance was obtained.
