Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of sealing material, e.g. a silicon based sealant, by forming a Z-shaped level difference on a longitudinal frame constituting a box body, applying a packing in the space at the level difference and tightening by means of a bolt thereby achieving waterproof by simply tightening the connection bolts between the boards. CONSTITUTION:A sponge-like packing 11 is adhered to the side face at the level difference part 10a of a longitudinal frame 10 for back and forth jointing face formed by bending a plate metal into Z-shape. Consequently, the packing 11 is compressed when bolts 3, 5 for connecting the boards are tightened. The elastic packing fills the gap, if any, occurring after connection of the boards thus preventing intrusion of water from the side part of the box body 1 of distribution board. This structure eliminates the sealing material, e.g. a silicon based sealant.

レン材製のスポンジ状のパッキンで、一方の面に接着材
が貼り付けられ、フレーム10の段差部側面に接着され
る。3は前記段差部10aと隣接する狭窄部10b間を
結合するボルトである。なお図では、棒状パッキン11
が箱体1の前後接続面縦フレーム10に上下方向に延在
した形で装着されており、パッキン11の他方の面が接
合される他方の箱体のフレーム10に当接され、かつ圧
縮されてシール効果を発揮する。

効果を長期間にわたって持続できる。 (b) 箱体の合わせ時にパッキンを挿入するだけであるの
で、コーキング方式に比べて作業が簡単になる。なおこ
の際、一方の側にパッキンを装着すれば作業性はさらに
向上する。 (2) また、板金をZ形に折り曲げたので、 (a) 軽量で強度の強いフレームが得られる。即ち、フレ
ーム自身の強度アップと共に、フレーム同士を突き合わ
せ締め付ける時に、曲げ強度が高くなり変形しにくいの
で、パッキンの圧縮が効果的に行われる。 (b) また、Z形であることと、器具取付部材取付け用ネ
ジ空間との共用のため、パッキン取付部の加工が容易と
なる。 (c) また図11に示すように器具取付部材13を取付け
