Conventionally, for example, as shown in FIG. 11, a flat plate material 1 such as metal is used.
It is well known that when the long flange product 10 is manufactured from No. 3, it is exclusively performed by press molding.

By the way, in order to obtain the product 10 shown in the figure, that is, the long flange product 10 in which the ridge 15 at the intersection of the flange portion 16 and the base portion 17 has a curved shape, the flat plate material 13 is bent to a desired shape all at once. When applied, the portions indicated by D, E, E in the drawing are strongly stretched and extended, and cracks often occur there. Therefore, conventionally, in order to prevent the occurrence of such cracking, press molding has been performed which requires three steps of a drawing step, a drawing step and a bending step.

That is, as shown in FIG. 6, the raw material 1 is formed by using a drawing device including a die 20, a cushion 21 and a punch 22.
3 is preformed into a drawn product 12 shown in FIG. 5, and then trimmed to a predetermined size by a punching device having a cutting edge 9 as shown in FIG. The processed product 11 is used. In the figure, a portion (19) between the solid line and the chain double-dashed line shows a portion removed as the scrap 19 (FIG. 8). Then, as shown in FIG. 10, a bending apparatus having a curved blade 7 and a press working apparatus as disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 60-25303 are used to perform the forming process. The target product (long flange product) 10 shown was being manufactured. Incidentally, the cross-sectional views showing the processing method shown in FIGS. 6, 8 and 10 are the corresponding FIG.

Therefore, the manufacturing method of the long flange product of the present invention is a method of manufacturing a long flange product having a curved ridge line by press molding, and performing punching, and a material corresponding to the end of the curved ridge line. It is characterized in that a bead is formed in advance on the part and the flange part is bent.

When press-molding a long flange product having a curved ridge line from a flat plate material, a tensile stress is applied to a material part corresponding to the end of the ridge line, but in the present invention, a bead is formed in advance at such a part. Therefore, during the bending process, the bead is stretched, the tensile stress is relaxed, and the bending strain concentrated in the portion is dispersed, so that the occurrence of cracks can be suppressed.

Since the bead formation is performed at the same time as the drawing process, the drawing process which has been indispensable for press molding of the shape can be omitted.

Further, in addition to the portion corresponding to the above-mentioned ridge line end portion, a bead is previously formed on another portion of the material to which tensile stress is applied during bending, for example, a portion corresponding to the tip of the flange, and the bending is further performed. It can also be made easier.

Here, there is no so-called squeezing step which has been conventionally performed. That is, first, a beaded product 14 having beads 1 and 2 as shown in FIG. 1A is manufactured from a flat plate material, cut at a dotted line, and a peripheral edge (scrap) 19 is trimmed. The bead formation and trimming are performed at once in the punching process. The process will be described with reference to FIG. 2 (a cross-sectional view showing a process at a position corresponding to a cross section taken along the line II-II in FIG. 1) showing the upper die pad 4 and the lower die 3 of the punching device. Holds the material and at the same time forms a mold surface capable of forming a bead having a desired shape on the workpiece 14. on the other hand,
A spring capable of exerting a repulsive force required to form a bead is used as the spring 8 for flare. When the flat plate material is punched using the apparatus thus configured, the upper die cutting blade 9
The work 23 having the beads 1 and 2 and the peripheral portion (scrap) 19 removed from the work 23 of FIG.
Can be easily manufactured. FIG. 1 (b) and FIG. 1 (c) are a partial front view and a partial side view, respectively, of the work 23 viewed from the direction B in FIG. 1 (a). L 1 , L 2 , l 1 and l 2 there indicate dimensions.

Next, as shown in FIG. 3, a curved shape having a radius of curvature R and a width of H
Bending is performed so that the flange portion 16 is formed. The broken line in the figure shows the shape before bending, and the arrow shows the bending direction. That is, as shown in FIG. 4, the workpiece 11 is sandwiched between the upper die pad 5 and the lower die punch 6 and then the upper die blade 7 is lowered. At this time, the flange tip D (3rd
In the figure, an elongation of H / (RH) × 100 [%] occurs (when the bending in the normal direction of the ridge line is completely established). However, as can be seen from the effect of the bead 2 formed in the portion that should become the flange tip portion D, that is, as shown in FIG. 1 (b), L
Bending is easy because it is pre-stretched for 2 -L 1 minute. In the case that can not absorb the flange extends only minutes at L 2 -L 1, Figure 3 in E, but is where elongation and cracking occurs at the site indicated by E, FIG. 1 (a) and (c) By forming the bead 1 on the material to be processed and extending it by l 2 −l 1 as shown in FIG. 3, it is possible to perform bending without causing cracks.
