ック部3の上部側にリヤパーセル4が位置される。この
リヤパーセル4はシートバック部3の上端から後部方向
に水平に延長し、トランクルームの上部を被う、例えば
合成樹脂板材を感触の良い表層材で被って構成される。
このリヤパーセル4の上面側における前部側には、第2
図に示すように左右の安全枕6,6を前後方向にガイドす
る一対のガイド部材5が左右に位置される。上記安全枕
6は、リヤパーセル4の前部側に位置される頭当て部6A
と、この頭当て部6Aよりリヤパーセル4の上面に沿って
後方に延長する保持部6Bとを有し、この保持部6Bと上記
リヤパーセル4とに一対のガイド部材5が設けられてい
る、この一対のガイド部材5は、リヤパーセル4の上面
において前後方向に延長する如く取付けられた断面U字
状のロアーレール5aと、上記保持部6Bの下部側に内蔵さ
れて上記ロアーレール5aにスライド自在に係止される断
面U字状のアッパーレール5bと、このロアーレール5aと
アッパーレール5bとの間に介在されたコロ5cとから成
り、アッパーレール5bに安全枕6の平板状のフレーム6a
が固定され、これにより、安全枕6はアッパーレール5b
と一体に前後方向にガイドされる。7はロック部材であ
り、フレーム5aの孔7aと、この孔7aに対応する位置に、
ロアーレール5aの底板5mに前後方向にわたって複数個設
けられたロック孔7bと、上記孔7aからロック孔7b方向に
突出して先端がロック孔7bのいずれかに嵌入するロック
ピン7cと、ロックピン7cの上端のストッパ片7dを上方向
に付勢するバネ7eと、ストッパ片7dの上面に当接する偏
心カム7fと、カム7fを枢支する軸7gと、カム7fの大径側
周面7hが常時ストッパ片7dの上面に当接する如く付勢す
るバネ7iと、上記カム7fに一端が接続されかつ他端がノ
ブ7jに接続されたワイヤ7kとから成る上記ノブ7jは安全
枕6の側面より一部突出している。従って、ノブ7jを牽
引するとカム7fが回動されて、その大径側周面7hが横を
むくのでストッパ片7dがバネ7eで押圧されて上動し、ス
トッパ7cがロック孔7bより抜けてアッパーレール5b及び
安全枕6は前後方向に移動自在となる。いずれかのロッ
ク孔7bにロックピン7cが対向するとロックピン7cがカム
7fの復旧に伴う圧力で下方向に押圧され、その先端がい
ずれかのロック孔7bに嵌入して安全枕6をロックする。
