[Industrial applications]

The present invention relates to an improvement of a vehicle seat slide device that supports a vehicle seat such as an automobile on the floor so that the position of the seat can be adjusted in the front-rear direction.

【0002】[0002]

[Prior art]

As a conventional seat slide device of this type, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 4-212639 has an upper guide rail and a lower guide rail fitted to each other so as to be relatively slidable in the longitudinal direction. , The upper guide rail is attached to the seat side, and the lower guide rail is attached to the floor side of the vehicle. Engagement portions having substantially the same cross-sectional shape are formed on both guide rails. A configuration is disclosed in which both engaging portions are fitted to each other so as to prevent the rails from separating from each other in the direction in which the rails are separated from each other, and a ball race is interposed between the engaging portions. .

In the seat slide device having the above-described configuration, the engaging portions having substantially the same shape are fitted in a symmetrically inverted manner, and act to prevent the guide rails from being pulled up and down in the vertical separating direction. However, since the upper and lower members have the same moment of inertia and provide equal resistance in the pulling direction, it is desirable in terms of structural equilibrium. Further, both guide rails can be manufactured by pressing a plate material, which is advantageous in that they can be provided at a low weight and at a low cost, and also has a structural advantage that they can be easily mounted on the floor side of a seat and a vehicle.

【0004】[0004]

[Problems to be solved by the device]

However, in the above-described conventional configuration, for example, when a load from the seat belt is applied between the upper guide rail and the lower guide rail and a force is applied in the upward and downward separating directions, the initial stage is Although both engaging parts abut against each other to prevent the guide rails from being separated from each other, when the load is further increased, the two guide rails remain in the engaged state and the load is caused by the bending of the material itself. However, if it exceeds the limit, both guide rails may be greatly deformed and eventually separated from each other, resulting in the destruction of the entire device.

This is because it is difficult to avoid the above problems because both guide rails are made of a relatively thin plate material that can be easily pressed. On the other hand, when a thick plate material is used, the press workability is deteriorated and the rail structure is There was a problem that the above advantages were not exhibited.

Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of various inconveniences in the conventional seat slide device configuration, and an object thereof is to maintain the advantages of the conventional seat slide device while operating the upper and lower guide rails. An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle seat slide device that has sufficient strength against a load in the direction of pulling away, is easy to manufacture, and has high durability.

[Means for Solving the Problems]

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has an upper guide rail and a lower guide rail that are mutually fitted in a slide relative to each other along a longitudinal direction, and the upper guide rail is provided on the seat side. And the lower guide rails are mounted on the floor side of the vehicle, and each of the guide rails is formed with an engaging portion having substantially the same cross-sectional shape to separate the guide rails from each other. Assuming that both engaging parts are fitted to each other so as to prevent this from occurring in the same direction and a ball race is interposed between both engaging parts, they are integrally fixed to the upper guide rail and An upper reinforcing member having a locking portion having a substantially U-shaped cross section formed at its lower end and an upper reinforcing member integrally fixed to the lower guide rail and having a locking portion having a substantially U-shaped cross section formed at its upper end. Lower reinforcement member , And the respective engaging portions of the upper reinforcing member and the lower reinforcing member are fitted to each other so that the U-shapes of the engaging portions are opposite to each other, and the upper guide rail and the lower guide rail are fitted. The present invention proposes a vehicle seat slide device which is reinforced so as to prevent the side guide rails from being pulled up and down in the vertical direction.

In addition, in the above configuration of the present invention, there is also proposed a belt-in type vehicle seat slide device in which a seat belt anchor is attached to the upper guide rail or the upper reinforcing member.

【0009】[0009]

[Action]

According to the above-described vehicle seat slide device of the present invention, when a force in the vertical separation direction is applied to both guide rails due to the load from the seat belt or the like, the engaging portions of the guide rails contact each other. In addition to the force to resist this, the U-shaped locking portions of the upper and lower reinforcing members likewise abut and engage with each other to resist this. Therefore, the force in the vertical separation direction is absorbed and relaxed by the guide rails and the reinforcing members integrally fixed to the guide rails, and the peeling of the guide rails is reliably prevented. Further, since the upper and lower reinforcing members have both U-shaped corresponding locking portions, even resistance is exerted at the time of abutting engagement, and the balance of the entire structure is maintained.

An embodiment of a vehicle seat slide device according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In the vehicle seat slide device of the present invention shown in FIG. 1 as a whole, 1 is an upper guide rail, 2 is a lower guide rail fitted to the upper guide rail 1 in the longitudinal direction (left-right direction in the drawing), Reference numeral 3 denotes an upper reinforcing member integrally fixed to the upper guide rail 1 by spot welding or the like, and 4 denotes a lower reinforcing member integrally fixed to the right end portion of the lower guide rail in the same manner as described above. The lower reinforcing member 4 extends in the longitudinal direction as shown in FIG. 1, and has a length corresponding to the upper reinforcing member 3 over the entire sliding range of the seat slide device.

The lower guide rail 2 is attached to the floor side of a vehicle such as an automobile (not shown) via a mounting bracket 5 fixed to the left end portion thereof and a bottom portion 4a of the lower reinforcing member 4, and It is fixedly installed on the top. On the other hand, the upper guide rail 1 is attached to a vehicle seat (not shown) via left and right attachment members 6. A mounting bolt portion 7 is installed on the upper flange portion 3a of the upper reinforcing member 3 and the upper flange portion 1a of the upper guide rail 1 that is integrally overlapped with the upper reinforcing member 3, and a seat belt anchor 8a of a seat belt 8 indicated by a chain line is attached to this. Has been attached. This is a so-called belt-in type structure in which the seat belt 8 is directly suspended on the seat slide device.

The upper guide rail 1 is slidable relative to the lower guide rail 2 along the longitudinal direction, and the seat can be adjusted to any position in the front-rear direction indicated by the arrow. A locking mechanism is provided for fixing the upper guide rail 1 to the lower guide rail 2 in this adjusted position. As shown in part in FIG. 1, one of locking holes (not shown) formed on the upper guide rail 1 is aligned with a locking tooth 2a formed on the lower guide rail 2 at an adjusting position to lock the locking lever. To engage them to fix the position. However, since this mechanical portion has a conventional structure and is not related to the features of the present invention, its detailed description is omitted.

In FIG. 2, the upper guide rail 1 and the lower guide rail 2 are formed by bending a plate material by press working, and integrally have engaging portions 10 and 11 having substantially the same cross section. These engaging portions 10 and 11 are fitted to each other in a symmetrically inverted manner, and the flange ends 10b and 11b of the engaging portions corresponding to the substantially U-shaped portions 10a and 11a of the engaging portions are slightly different. It is entering with a gap. A bearing portion 10c, 10d, 11c, 11d for supporting three balls 13a, 13b, 13c forming a ball bearing of the ball race 12 by interposing a ball race 12 between these engaging portions is provided. It is configured to support the load along the. Therefore, the load from the seat is transmitted from the upper guide rail 1 to the lower guide rail 2 via the ball race 12 along the axis X-X, and is further supported by the floor of the vehicle therethrough.

The set of balls 13 a, 13 b, 13 c of these ball races 12 are arranged with a predetermined gap along the longitudinal direction of both guide rails 1, 2 and are projected from the rail and moved laterally by a stopper 14. Is prevented, and the rail 1 is slidably guided with respect to the lower guide rail 2 over the sliding range of the upper guide rail 1.

Like the guide rails 1 and 2, the upper and lower reinforcing members 3 and 4 are bent by press working. The lower reinforcing member 3 and the lower reinforcing member 4 are integrally formed with locking portions 15 and 16 having a substantially U-shaped cross section at the lower end and the upper end of the lower reinforcing member 4, respectively. Similar to the engaging portions 10 and 11, the engaging portions 15 and 16 have substantially the same shape as the engaging portions 10 and 11 in a symmetrically inverted manner so that their U-shapes are opposite to each other. There is a slight gap between them.

The lower reinforcing member 4 is integrally fixed to the lower guide rail 2 in a manner exactly back to back as shown in FIG. 2, and is integrally fixed to the U-shaped portion of the engaging portion 16 of the reinforcing member. The U-shaped portion 11a of the engaging portion 11 of the rail 2 is at the same height position, and has a shape configuration that is curved substantially symmetrically from the center toward the outside.

When the seat belt 8 suspended on the seat slide device is suddenly pulled and a load acts on the upper guide rail 1 through the belt 8 in the upward direction shown by the arrow in FIG. The rail 1 receives a force against the fixed lower guide rail 2 in a direction in which it is vertically separated. As a result, the U-shaped portions 10a and 11a of the engaging portions 10 and 11 of both rails 1 and 2 and the corresponding flange ends 10b and 11b are brought into contact with each other with a slight gap therebetween. , The rails 1 and 2 are integrated to receive the load. On the other hand, at the same time, the engaging portions 15 and 16 of both the reinforcing members 3 and 4 also come into contact with each other in the same manner, so that the reinforcing members 3 and 4 are also integrated and resist the load. Therefore, in the structure of the present invention, not only the engaging portions 10 and 11 of both guide rails 1 and 2, but also the engaging portions 15 and 16 of both reinforcing members 3 and 4 bear the load, so that the load is dispersed. Excessive local loads are avoided. The force in the direction of vertically separating the two guide rails 1 and 2 is absorbed and relaxed by the integrated structure of the two guide rails 1 and 2 and the reinforcing members 3 and 4. Therefore, it is possible to reliably prevent the situation where both guide rails are separated as in the conventional structure. Further, since the engaging portions 10 and 11 of both guide rails 1 and 2 and the engaging portions 15 and 16 of both reinforcing members 3 and 4 are configured to keep the left-right balance and resist the load, it is possible to support the distributed load. The seat slide device is well balanced, safer and more reliable.

Further, as described above, due to the mutual correspondence structure of the engaging portions 15 and 16 of the reinforcing members 3 and 4, in addition to the reinforcement for preventing the vertical separating direction, the lateral movement of the guide rail in the left and right direction is performed. Also has a function to regulate this. That is, when an excessive external load is applied to the rails 1 and 2 in the left-right direction, the side surfaces of the U-shaped portions of the locking portions 15 and 16 come into contact with each other, so that the rail is deformed by the lateral movement. Can be prevented.

In the present embodiment, the belt-in type structure in which the load in the upward and downward separating directions acts on the guide rail from the seat belt has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this, and another external member may be used in the same direction. The present invention is effective even when a shock is applied, and the present invention is not limited to the embodiments.

【0020】[0020]

[Effect of device]

As described above, according to the present invention, each reinforcing member integrally fixed to the upper guide rail and the lower guide rail is provided with a substantially U-shaped engaging portion, and the U-shaped engaging portions are provided to each other. Since the mating is done so that they are in the opposite direction, when a load is applied from the seat belt, etc. in the vertical pulling direction of both guide rails, the guide rails work in cooperation with the guide rails to resist the load. However, it is possible to reliably prevent the situation where both guide rails are peeled off, the manufacturing is easy and the durability is high, and the belt-in type configuration can be more easily realized, and various practical effects are exhibited.
