The mixed soil described above effectively utilizes the high porosity of rock wool and has a good water retention property, so that the frequency of irrigation work can be reduced, so that significant labor saving is possible, and at the same time, it is highly breathable. Since the rock wool, which occupies the main part, is sterile, there are few harmful bacteria as a whole, and p
H has been continuously adjusted to be suitable for plant growth, its properties are close to those of natural soil, and it is a natural soil for seed beds, greenhouses, planters, pots, etc. without requiring any complicated equipment. Can be used like soil. Since the apparent specific gravity is about 1/3 of that of natural soil, operations such as soil transportation, raising, mixing fertilizer, and moving seedlings can be easily performed.

Then, as the rock wool granular cotton of the above soil, when using hydrophilic fine-grain cotton and water-repellent fine-grain cotton together,
It is possible to widely adjust the water retention capacity of the soil. In addition, the use of hydrophilic fine cotton having a small particle size is effective in preventing sinking of plant species, for example. Pumice stone (or vermiculite) mixed in the soil is not only an extremely effective mixture for keeping the soil in a highly air-permeable state, but also absorbs the water in the soil so that the soil is over-humidified. It also plays a role in preventing In particular, the mixture of rock wool and peat moss has poor water absorption after drying once (mainly due to the property of peat moss), but pumice instead absorbs water, causing a decrease in water absorption. There is no fear.
