Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an illumination method which can prevent the optical environmental disturbance to the neighborhood and besides secure the illumination of the ground space within a fly range and further which is easy in work execution and maintenance of an illuminator. CONSTITUTION:An illuminator 8 is placed upright on the ground so that the light emitting part of the illuminator 8 may not be seen from a player 2 positioned behind or above in the rear. One part or whole of the illuminator body is buried in the ground to illuminate upper space of the ground.

A lighting device is directly placed on a ground surface so that a light emitting portion of the lighting device cannot be seen by a player positioned behind or above the rear, or a part or the whole of the lighting device main body is embedded in the ground surface. Then, the ground lighting method is characterized by illuminating the sky above the ground. 2. The method of illuminating a ground according to claim 1, wherein the ground surface is illuminated by an auxiliary lighting device installed on a pole or a wall provided on or near the ground.
