る電源手段と、該電源手段等の熱源で発生した熱を外部
に放出するためのファンと、該熱源で発生した熱風を該
ファンに導くダクトと、装置全体をカバーし、該ファン
からの熱風を外部に導くルーバが形成された外装とを有
する画像形成装置において、該ルーバの近傍に、該ファ
ンの開口部から該ルーバまでの空間に突出するリブが該
外装と一体的に設けられ、該リブの高さは、該ファンの
開口部から該ルーバまでの距離より大きいことを特徴と
する画像形成装置。
1. An image forming apparatus for forming an image by an electrophotographic method, comprising a fixing device for fixing a toner image transferred on a transfer material onto the transfer material, and a control means for controlling the fixing device and the like. A power supply means for supplying electricity to the fixing device and the control means; a fan for discharging heat generated by a heat source such as the power supply means to the outside; and a duct for guiding hot air generated by the heat source to the fan. In an image forming apparatus having an exterior that covers the entire apparatus and has a louver that guides hot air from the fan to the outside, in the vicinity of the louver, projecting into the space from the opening of the fan to the louver. An image forming apparatus, wherein a rib is provided integrally with the exterior, and a height of the rib is larger than a distance from an opening of the fan to the louver.

面の少なくとも2つ以上の平面に形成されていることを
特徴とする請求項1記載の画像形成装置。

面が交わる時に、前記リブ同士が連続的に形成されてい
ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の画像形成装置。

【請求項4】 前記ファンの開口部の幅より、前記ルー
バーの幅が大きいことを特徴とする請求項1記載の画像
形成装置。

【請求項5】 前記ルーバーは前記ファンの開口部の軸
中心以外の方向に存在し、前記リブが前記ファンの開口
部から前記ルーバーまでの空間に連続的に形成されてい
ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の画像形成装置。
