る。(Prior Art) It is known from Japanese Patent Publication No. 53-2065 that an illumination adjusting film is formed by printing on the rear surface of the dial in order to make the brightness of the display part of the dial uniform during illumination. And
Further, a method for producing an illumination adjusting film is known from JP-A-60-123728 and JP-A-63-61117. Then, the illumination adjusting film is formed by a dot pattern in which the dot area in each element of the virtual matrix on the dial plate surface is changed according to the light blocking ratio necessary for equalizing the brightness. As a dot pattern of this illumination adjustment film, one dot is provided in each element of the virtual matrix,
At least the main part of the dot pattern is configured by changing the size of the dots according to the light blocking rate.

る手段が考えられる。(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) As described above, if the entire dot pattern is formed by the positive, the dots may become large in a place where the light blocking rate is large, and the dots 3 may be seen through from the front surface of the dial during illumination. Therefore, in order to prevent this, as shown in FIG. 6, one dot 3 is provided in each element 2 of the virtual matrix 1, and a dot on the small light blocking rate is set at a predetermined light blocking rate, for example, 50%. A means for forming positive and large dots by a negative is conceivable.

Although it can be prevented, there is a problem that the boundary between the positive and the negative appears clearly as the boundary line 4 as shown in FIG. 7, and this is transmitted from the front surface of the dial plate, and the visibility is lowered.

In the case where the small side is formed positive and the large side is formed negative, in the boundary portion, dots of the same size alternate between positive and negative in a unit element having a plurality of elements with the same vertical x horizontal. It is formed by using a plurality of them.

Each element 2 is provided with dots 3 of the same size having an area calculated in order to obtain an average light-shielding rate in the range of the unit element 5, and these four dots 3 are alternately positive and negative. Used to construct a positive / negative hybrid pattern.

すればよい。In this way, in the above-described embodiment, since the positive / negative boundary portion is formed by using the positive / negative mixed pattern, there is no boundary line 4 as shown in FIG. 7 and the positive / negative boundary portion is blurred. As a result, it is possible to prevent the boundary portion between the positive and negative from being seen through from the front surface of the dial during illumination of the indicating instrument. In the positive / negative mixed pattern, since dots 3 of the same size are formed alternately in the positive / negative in the unit element 5 consisting of 2 × 2 vertical and horizontal elements 2, The light-shielding rate is uniform, and there is no problem in making the illuminance uniform. Moreover, in FIG.
4 dots 3 of the same size are formed positively in the unit element 5 in the 48% area, and the unit element 5 is formed in the 52% light-shielding area.
In the figure, four dots 3 of the same size are formed by a negative. However, in addition to the positive / negative mixed pattern, each element 2 may be provided with a dot having a size corresponding to the light blocking rate, and may be arbitrarily selected. Good.

The unit element 5A consisting of is used, and the dot 3 is provided in the unit element 5A by alternately using positive and negative as in FIG. Then, using the positive / negative mixed pattern of the unit element 5A, the dot pattern of the boundary portion is constructed in the same manner as in FIG. 1 as shown in FIG. In this embodiment, the area of the positive / negative mixed pattern is wider than that in FIG. 1, so that the boundary portion is more favorably blurred.

In this example, a unit element 5B composed of an element 2 having a vertical × horizontal dimension of 4 × 4 is used, and two dots 3 are included in the unit element 5B. The positive and negative electrodes are alternately provided one by one, and the same effect as that of the above-described embodiment can be obtained by using this positive / negative mixed pattern.
