Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent rails from buckling, by fastening a pressure-receiving plate having the same length as the interval of crossties or larger at the end of the wooden crosstie with fixtures having a slot at the center thereof and a generally cranked shape. CONSTITUTION:An almost crank-shaped fixture 12 is inserted into a slot bored at the center of the corner of a pressure-receiving plate 11 having the same length with the pitch of crossties or longer to assemble a buckling preventive device 10. For this pressure-receiving plate 11, a structural L-shaped rolled steel in the market may be used. The external side of the vertical part 14 of the pressure-receiving plate 11 in the buckling preventive device 10 is pressed at the end 21 of a wooden crosstie 20, where ballast 40 are removed, by the vertical part 18 of the fixture 12 so that the upperface of the lower horizontal part 19 of the fixture 12 is made to contact the lowerface of the horizontal part 15 of the pressure-receiving plate 11 and the lowerface of the upper horizontal part 17 of the fixture 12 is made to contact with the upperface 22 of the wooden crosstie 20 and fixed with screw spikes 13. After the buckling preventive device 10 is fitted, ballast 40 is placed again to cover the horizontal part 15 of the pressure-receiving plate 11 and the weight of ballast is loaded with. In this way, the rail 30 can be prevented from buckling.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a buckling of a rail which prevents the rail from being bent and bent when the temperature rises and the rail expands and bulges outward from the curve in a curve section of a ballast bed. In particular, the present invention relates to an orbital buckling prevention device using a wooden sleeper (wooden sleeper).

2. Description of the Related Art Since rails expand and contract due to temperature changes, axial pressure is generated. Therefore, sleepers to which rails are fastened are buried and fixed in a ballast bed. In particular, in recent years, long rails, in which fixed-length rails are welded to make them seamless, have been widely adopted as means for reducing the damage of tracks and improving the riding comfort of trains.

[0003] In order to suppress the expansion and contraction action due to the long rail, a concrete sleeper (PC sleeper) having a large weight and securely fastened is used, and a required roadbed for a long rail in a sharp curve. In order to secure lateral resistance, various anti-buckling devices that prevent movement of sleepers in the roadbed are used.

On the other hand, it is the same that intensifying lateral roadbed resistance is an indispensable condition when installing long rails on the track of wooden sleepers. The buckling prevention metal fitting 1 as shown in FIG. 1 is attached to the end of the wood sleeper 2 by a bolt 3 which penetrates in the horizontal direction, and the wide vertical portion 4 of the buckling prevention metal fitting 1 is ballasted.
A part of the system that is embedded inside to increase the lateral resistance of the track is adopted.

However, in the case where the buckling prevention metal fitting 1 as described above is attached to the end of the wooden sleeper 2 with the bolt 3, the horizontal bolt is attached to the existing wooden sleeper already laid. Since it is difficult to make a hole, a bolt hole is previously made at the end of the wood sleeper 2 when the sleeper is replaced, and a buckling prevention metal fitting 1 is attached to the old one. There is a problem that the sleeper 2 must be installed again after removing the sleeper.

Moreover, the weight of the sleepers is an important factor for the stability of the long rails, lightweight wooden sleepers are shunned in comparison with the PC sleepers, and it is common knowledge that the long rails are expensive but have the PC sleepers. The current situation is that long rails in the wood sleeper track have been postponed.

Then, the vertical portion 18 of the mounting member 12 is pressed so that the outer surface of the vertical portion 14 of the pressure receiving plate 11 is pressed against the end portion 21 of the wooden sleeper 20 from which the ballast 40 has been removed. At the same time, the lower surface of the upper horizontal portion 17 of the mounting bracket 12 is brought into contact with the upper surface of the wood sleeper 20 .
At this time, since the load of the ballast 40 is transmitted to the sleeper 20, the upper surface of the lower horizontal portion 19 of the mounting bracket 12 is attached to the pressure receiving plate 11.
It is necessary to adjust the position of the pressure receiving plate 11 in the vertical direction so that the pressure receiving plate 11 contacts the lower surface of the horizontal portion 15.

After that, the mounting bracket 12 is fixed to the wooden sleeper 20 by the screw spike 13. After the work, the ballast 40 is returned and placed on the horizontal portion 15 of the pressure receiving plate 11 , and the load of the ballast 40 is applied to the pressure receiving plate 11 . Therefore, since the load is applied to the wood sleeper 20 via the mounting bracket 12 ,
The load on the wooden sleeper 20 increases. Further, upward movement of the pressure receiving plate 11, the upper end mounting member 1 of the vertical portion 14 of the receiving plate 11
It is prevented by contacting the lower surface of the upper horizontal portion 17 of the second .

As described above, according to the present invention, a vertical portion having a length that is at least approximately equal to the length of the sleepers and whose outer surface abuts against the ends of the sleepers, and from the lower end of the vertical portions. A pressure receiving plate which is formed in an L-shape with an outwardly extending horizontal portion and has a long hole-shaped through groove formed at the center of a corner for penetrating a mounting member, and the pressure receiving plate is attached to the end of the sleeper. Since it is composed of the mounting bracket and the fixing means for fixing the mounting bracket to the sleeper, it can be easily mounted on an existing wooden sleeper.

Therefore, not only can the lateral roadbed lateral resistance be enhanced, but also the ballast load applied to the pressure receiving plate can be added to the wooden sleepers to increase the load of the wooden sleepers, so that compared to the PC sleeper track. Long rails can be implemented even on inexpensive wood sleeper tracks.

Further, in the case where the mounting member is formed in an L shape like the pressure receiving plate and the vertical portion thereof is fixed to the vertical portion of the pressure receiving plate, it is not necessary to provide a through groove in the pressure receiving plate.
Also, even if the upper end of the vertical portion of the pressure receiving plate does not abut on the lower surface of the upper horizontal portion of the mounting bracket, the pressure receiving plate can be prevented from moving upward, so the bottom of the sleeper does not have to be large. Since it is possible to increase the depth from, it is advantageous when it is desired to particularly increase the roadbed resistance value.

Further, by using a commercially available structural L-shaped rolled steel material for the pressure receiving plate and the mounting member of the second embodiment, the manufacturing is extremely simple and the number of parts is small, and the structure is simple and easy to assemble. Therefore, it has a great effect that it can be provided at low cost.
