Abstract

PURPOSE:To omit the electric circuit that is needed for a moving object to secure the coincidence of polarity and to simplify the circuit constitution by charging a chargeable battery even when the moving object is inversely set to a fixing machine in regard of a charging device for the communication equipment of the moving object that supplies the charging voltage to the chargeable battery contained in the moving object. CONSTITUTION:A depressed slave device storing part 4 is formed on the upper surface 3a of a master device main body 3 to store the lower part 6b of a slave device main body 6. Then a pair of positive and negative charging terminals 12 and 13 are provided on the inner surface 4a of the part 4. The electric circuit of a master device 1 converts the commercial AC voltage into the DC voltage as conventional and supplies this DC voltage to both terminals 12 and 13. An antenna 5 is also added to transmit the radio signals between the device 1 and a slave device 2. A pair of positive and negative charging terminals 14 and 15 are provide on the edge 6c of the part 6b of the front face 6a of the body 6. And an auxiliary charging terminal 16 is provided approximately to it. Furthermore a key operating part 7 and an antenna 8 are provided on the face 6a, and contact is secured between both terminals 17 and 13 and also between the terminals 13 and 15 when the body 6 is erected at the part 4.

Further, in each of the above embodiments, the case of the cordless telephone has been described, but it can be widely applied to various mobile communication devices. For example, in a charging device configured to charge a rechargeable battery built in a portable small wireless device when the portable small wireless device is set at a predetermined position of the wireless device, a positive battery installed in each of the wireless device and the charger is installed. In addition to each pair of charging terminals of the negative electrode, the auxiliary charging terminal described above may be provided in any one of them, and the auxiliary charging terminal may be connected to the charging terminal on the positive electrode side.

As described above, since the charging device for the mobile communication device according to the present invention is provided with the auxiliary charging terminal in addition to the pair of positive and negative charging terminals provided in the stationary device or the mobile device, Even if the mobile unit is placed in a normal set state with respect to the fixed unit, for example, it is placed upright or inverted and placed horizontally,
The auxiliary charging terminal is always in contact with the charging terminal on the positive electrode side, and the charging voltage can be supplied from the charging circuit of the stationary device to the rechargeable battery of the mobile device. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide an electric circuit or the like for matching polarities on the mobile unit side as in the conventional case, the circuit configuration on the mobile unit side is simplified, and the number of parts is reduced. It is easy and cheap.
