2. Description of the Related Art Fireproof putty compositions of this type that have been used conventionally are based on liquid polymers, on which inorganic fillers such as metal hydrates, flame retardants such as antimony trioxide and halogen compounds, Furthermore, as a main component, a mixture of inorganic fibers such as asbestos and glass fibers is used as a reinforcing fiber,
Many of these contain a plasticizer and an antiaging agent. However, in these fireproof putty compositions, the asbestos used as the reinforcing fiber has a problem as a carcinogen, and the glass fiber has a problem of skin irritation,
At present, organic fibers such as phenol fibers and polynosic fibers, carbon fibers and the like are used as reinforcing fibers. However, since these reinforcing organic fibers are rigid and strong, the workability of the kneading step for forming a uniform composition of all the components is deteriorated when a large amount is filled, and the composition is used. The construction workability of is also reduced. On the other hand, in the case of a small amount of filling, the resulting composition does not have a sufficient reinforcing effect, so that the part where the composition is applied may cause problems such as softening and falling out after the installation or at the time of fire. There was a problem in shape stability over time. For this reason, attempts have been made to improve the shape stability of the composition over time by combining and compounding a small amount of solid rubber, flat talc, etc. into the composition, but this is not always sufficient.

The fireproof putty composition of the present invention comprises a liquid polymer and MgSO 4 .5Mg (OH) 2
A filler composed of a compound represented by 3H 2 O as a main component, and the filling amount of the filler is 350 to 1000 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the liquid polymer. In addition to the above, it is desirable to add an appropriate amount of a commonly used auxiliary filler such as a phthalic acid-based or phosphorus-based plasticizer and a phenol-based antiaging agent to the composition of the present invention.

Further, the following formula used in the present invention: MgSO 4
The compound represented by 5Mg (OH) 2 .3H 2 O is a fibrous inorganic substance, and is commercially available from Ube Industries, Ltd. under the trade name of "Mosheiji". In the present invention, the amount of the filler to be filled in the composition is the liquid polymer 10
The reason for defining the range of 350 to 1000 parts by weight with respect to 0 parts by weight is that the flame retardancy of the obtained composition is insufficient at a filling amount of less than 350 parts by weight, and when the filling amount exceeds 1000 parts by weight. This is because the obtained composition becomes too hard and the workability of construction is deteriorated.
