Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily and assuredly provide a synthetic leather of surface appearance with desired lustrous state, also excellent in color developability and surface smoothness. CONSTITUTION:(A) A synthetic leather base fabric 3 provided with a transparent resin surface layer 2 as the uppermost surface layer among those on a base material 1 and (B) a shaping resin film 4 are fed in between a pair of heating rollers 5 so as to come into contact between the surface layer 2 and film 4 and put to contact bonding under heating to laminate the raw fabric 3 with the film 4. Thence, after cooling, the film 4 is peeled off the fabric 3. In this way, owing to the film 4, desired lustrous state will be directly and assuredly transferred and shaped on the transparent surface layer of the raw fabric; also, for the final synthetic leather, the color of the lower layer can be favorably manifested through the transparent surface layer and surface smoothness will be excellent as a whole.

2. Description of the Related Art The surface of synthetic leather is appropriately adjusted to be a matte surface or, on the contrary, a glossy surface, depending on its application. For example, when a synthetic leather having a matte surface is obtained, it is produced by forming a matte layer made of a resin containing a matting agent on the surface of the synthetic leather with a mesh roll in the final step. In the case of obtaining, the final product is made to pass through between heating rolls to make the surface mirror-like.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional method for obtaining a synthetic leather having a matte surface, the matte resin layer provides a surface appearance with little or no luster, but below the matte layer. However, the color and pattern of the colored printing layer, the skin layer, etc. appear to be unclear due to the matting agent, resulting in a poor color developing property. On the other hand, the method for obtaining a synthetic leather with a glossy surface has a drawback that the original glossy surface is restored even if it is heated and pressed by passing through a heating roll, and a desired glossy surface cannot be obtained. In any of the production methods, the synthetic leather obtained has a drawback that the overall surface smoothness is inferior, and particularly when producing a synthetic leather having a matte surface, the raw material of the synthetic leather itself is smooth. If the amount is poor, the matte layer is simply formed on the leather surface and the surface state of the raw fabric remains as it is, so that the problem of surface smoothness becomes remarkable. The present invention not only overcomes the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art, but also provides a synthetic leather manufacturing method capable of easily and reliably obtaining synthetic leather having a desired glossy surface. The purpose is to

The present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. First, in the manufacturing method of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1 (A), a synthetic leather original fabric having a transparent resin surface layer 2 formed as the outermost layer of a layer provided on a substrate 1 made of a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, a knitted fabric or the like. 3 is passed between the heating rolls 5 so that the surface layer 2 and the film 4 are in contact with the shaping resin film 4, and thermocompression bonding is performed, so that the synthetic leather raw fabric 3 and the shaping resin film 4 are formed.
You can attach them in a state where they are completely adhered. In the figure, 6 is the base material 1.
1 illustrates an optional intermediate layer provided on top of which synthetic leather is constructed. The intermediate layer 6 is not particularly limited and, for example, as shown in FIG. 2, a urethane wet layer 10, a skin layer 11,
It is composed of a print layer 12 and the like.

Molding resin film 4 used in the present invention
Is for transferring and shaping the state of the surface (molding surface) 4a of the film as it is onto the surface layer 2 of the synthetic leather raw fabric 3. Therefore, the glossy state (form) of the film surface 4a is appropriately formed according to the glossy state of the synthetic leather surface to be obtained. Further, the glossy state is not limited to a uniform glossy state on the entire film surface, and may be configured so that the glossiness is partially different. A resin film such as polyester and polypropylene can be used as the film 4, but a polyester film having good heat resistance and processability is most preferable. The thickness of this film is 10-100
It is about μm.

The heating roll 5 comprises a heated metal roll 7 and a heated rubber roll 8. In the case of the heat roll 5 having such a configuration, the supply is performed so that the shaping film 4 comes into contact with the heated metal roll 7 side. The form of the heating roll is not particularly limited as long as the desired synthetic leather raw material and the film for shaping can be heated and pressure bonded, and for example, a pair of rolls may be heated together. The surface temperature of the heating roll 5 is 100 to 160 ° C.
Heat it to a certain degree. If the temperature is lower than this, the adhesion between the shaping film 4 and the surface layer 2 becomes insufficient, and it becomes difficult to obtain a desired glossy state by the film 4. Pressurization by the heating roll 5 is 1-5 kg / cm
It is about 2 .

Next, when the synthetic leather raw material 3 and the molding resin film 4 which are closely adhered by the heating roll 5 are cooled, the resin film 4 is peeled and removed as shown in FIG. 1 (B). By this peeling, the surface state of the film surface 4a is directly transferred and imprinted on the surface 2a of the surface layer 2,
As a result, the synthetic leather 9 having the desired glossy surface layer is obtained (FIG. 2). Cooling of the laminate of the synthetic leather raw fabric 3 and the shaping resin film 4 is carried out naturally by allowing it to adhere closely with the heating roll 5 and then leaving it at room temperature as it is, or after passing through the heating roll. It can be forcedly performed by continuously passing between the cooling rolls. When performing the above natural cooling,
The laminate is wound on a roll or the like and left in the wound state for 6 to 24 hours. When using a cooling roll, it is performed under the condition that both the synthetic leather raw material and the shaping resin film are sufficiently cooled. After all, it is sufficient to cool the laminate to the same temperature as room temperature.

The surface layer 2 of the synthetic leather raw fabric 3 is a transparent resin layer, and as the resin constituting this layer, the yellowing-free type and the yellowing-resistant type, which are usually used in this type of synthetic leather, Yellowing type polyester-based, polyether-based, urethane resin and the like can be used, but from the viewpoint of ensuring transparency, non-yellowing type is preferable. In the synthetic leather obtained by the present invention, the color of the intermediate layer 6 can be seen through the transparent surface layer 2. For example, when the intermediate layer 6 includes the print layer 12 illustrated in FIG. 2, the content (coloring, pattern, etc.) of the print layer can be clearly seen through the surface layer 2. Intermediate layer 6 and surface layer 2 constituting the synthetic leather raw fabric 3

As described above, according to the method of the present invention, the synthetic leather original fabric on which the transparent resin surface layer is formed is passed through the heating roll together with the resin film for shaping so that the surface layer surface side is in contact with each other, and both are adhered and adhered to each other. Since the patterning film is peeled off after being aligned and cooled, the surface state of the patterning surface of the patterning film can be transferred to the surface layer surface of the raw leather as it is, and therefore the patterning is performed. By appropriately setting the imprinted surface of the mold film to be in a glossy state, a synthetic leather having a surface appearance in a desired glossy state can be obtained very easily. Moreover, since the patterning film is peeled off after cooling, the patterning shape to be modeled by the patterning film is reliably and reproducibly transferred to the surface layer surface, for example, based on the modeled shape. There is no danger of returning and changing the luster. In addition, since the means for transferring the imprinted shape of the imprinting film to the surface of the transparent resin surface layer is adopted, the color of the layer below the surface layer is clear and clear through the surface layer. And synthetic leather with excellent color development can be obtained. Furthermore, since the synthetic leather raw fabric is heated and pressure-bonded through heating rolls and then cooled, there is an advantage that a synthetic leather having good surface smoothness can be obtained. According to this production method of the present invention, the surface gloss (surface gloss)
