When 2 is exposed to the illumination light 13 through the mask 11, the area D2 other than the masked area D1 is desensitized,
Trimmed. Next, as shown in FIG. 6, the trimmed photosensitive material 12 is brought into close contact with an original 14 made of a reflection hologram, and reproduction light is emitted from a light source 15 from the photosensitive material side. The original hologram is duplicated in the sensitive area D1 which interferes in the photosensitive material 12. Note that the trimming is performed prior to the duplication in order to prevent noise from being generated outside the recording unit.

Is a photosensitizer for reproduction, and 3 is an original plate. As in the layer structure shown in FIG. 2, the UV mask 1, the duplication sensitive material 2, and the original plate 3 are laminated and arranged. Actually, as shown in FIG. 1, the UV mask 1 and the original plate 3 are arranged so as to face each other with the duplication sensitive material 2 sequentially supplied from the rollers interposed therebetween. The UV mask 1 is a mask that absorbs or reflects only UV light, and transmits hologram reproducing laser light. Further, the original plate 3 is composed of a reflection hologram. With respect to such a layer structure, UV light is emitted from the mask side by the UV light source 5, and at the same time, laser light is emitted by the laser light source 4. Since UV light does not pass through the masked area, the duplication sensitive material 2 retains sensitivity, and the unmasked area is desensitized. On the other hand, the laser light is UV
The original hologram image is recorded because the reproduction light from the original 3 and the irradiation laser light interfere with each other in the photosensitive material after passing through the mask 1, and the desensitized area is not recorded because it has no photosensitivity. In this way, the desensitizing exposure and the hologram duplication exposure can be performed at the same time to perform trimming and hologram duplication in one step. If the UV mask is set accurately, the duplication sensitive material and the original plate can be aligned. Can be simplified.

When desensitizing exposure is performed and hologram exposure is performed from the duplication sensitive material side, the unmasked region is desensitized, and the laser light source 4
The recording light from and the reproduction light from the original plate 3 interfere in the duplication sensitive material 2 and the trimming and hologram duplication can be performed in one step in the same manner.

However, it is possible to duplicate the transmission hologram in the same manner. In that case, the position of the original plate and the duplicating sensitive material are positioned. Need only be reversed with respect to the case of a reflective hologram.

UV is applied by using a mask to bring the original plate and the duplication sensitive material into close contact.
UV light is emitted through the mask and recording light is emitted. The masked area of the duplication sensitive material retains sensitivity, and the unmasked area is desensitized, while the recording light passes through the mask, so that the hologram image of the original plate is duplicated in the area having sensitivity. As a result, the desensitizing exposure and the hologram exposure can be performed in one step, and the alignment of the duplication sensitive material and the original plate can be simplified.
