[Detailed description of the invention] [Industrial application field] This invention is a filtration type dust collector (filter type dust collector)
Specifically, the present invention relates to a wet and dry type dust collector with a pre-duster that combines a dust collector and a pre-duster into one set.

In filtration type dust collectors that use filters to collect dust, if the dust that is sucked in contains coarse particle dust such as metal chips or abrasives for pipe lining, it is necessary to protect the filter. Therefore, pre-dusters are connected before and after the filtration type dust collector to separate and collect coarse particle dust.

There have traditionally been various types of pre-dusters used for the above purpose, such as gravity sedimentation type, inertial force type, and centrifugal force type (cyclone type).Among them, the cyclone type has the best separation effect. Due to its excellent features, it is widely used, including simple versions.

However, conventional cyclone pre-dusters are configured to separate coarse particle dust by swirling the sucked dust-containing air around a cyclone cylinder.
The entire tank (outer cylinder) that houses this cyclone cylinder is vertically long, making it difficult to install indoors with low ceilings or in narrow spaces.Furthermore, in the case of dust collectors that use conventional molded filters, drying The main method is to collect wet dust (including liquid).
There was a problem that the separation effect could not be performed.

Therefore, the present applicant has proposed a pre-dust separator, which is compact in the shape of a horizontally oriented circular drum and which can also be installed in the filter chamber of a dust collector, by filing the previous Utility Application No. 1982-29415. developed.

The pre-dust separator according to the above application has a structure in which the dust-containing air taken in from the intake port is rotated in a horizontally oriented circular drum to separate coarse particle dust from the dust-containing air, so the entire structure is oriented horizontally. The height problem can be solved. However, if this is housed in the filter chamber of a dust collector, a considerable amount of dedicated space will be required, resulting in an increase in the size of the dust collector itself due to the enlargement of the filter chamber, or a decrease in dust collection efficiency due to a reduction in the number of filters. The problem was unavoidable.

Therefore, the technical problem of the present invention is to be able to exhibit excellent coarse particle dust separation function in the filter chamber without reducing the number of refilters with larger filter chambers, and to be able to separate both dry and wet dust. To provide a dust collector with a pre-duster that can also be used.

The above element (1) makes it possible to suck or blow dust-containing air containing various types of coarse particle dust and moisture into the interior of the aircraft through the intake port provided on the side of the aircraft.

The element (2) above causes the dust-containing air sucked or blown into the inside of the aircraft to swirl vigorously along the circumferential surface of a protective tube formed with a cylindrical cross-section, and the centrifugal force causes the dust-containing air to flow into the air. It is possible to separate coarser particle dust and moisture and collect and discharge it at the inner bottom of the fuselage below the protective cylinder.

The element (3) above is to suck dust-containing air from which coarse particle dust and moisture have been separated by centrifugal force into the inside of the protective cylinder through the open bottom surface by the suction or blowing pressure of the blower, and pass it through the filter. At the same time, since the filter is completely surrounded and suspended inside the protective tube that acts as a cyclone tube, coarse particle dust or dust that swirls vigorously around the protective tube can be filtered and cleaned. This solves the problem of moisture coming into contact with the filter, causing it to damage (wear) or absorbing moisture. It also allows you to create a dedicated space for the protection tube in the filter chamber, and reduce the number of filters because of the protection tube. It is possible to provide a dust collector that does not require space, has approximately the same size (volume) as a conventional dust collector, and has a pre-duster function.

The coarse particle dust and water separated in this way descend to the inner bottom of the fuselage 1 due to their own weight and accumulate there, and are appropriately discharged from the discharge port 2 when the detection sensor 19 detects that the sensor 19 is full. Since the length of the protective tube 10 is formed shorter than the fuselage 1, the coarse particle dust and moisture separated by the rotation are transferred to the protective tube 10.
In addition, since the filter 12 is completely housed in the protection tube 10 and is suspended, it is possible to store enough water inside the fuselage 1 at the lower side. It is protected from particle dust and moisture, and can solve the problem of damage due to contact with dust and moisture or water absorption.

On the other hand, the remaining dust-containing air from which the coarse particle dust and moisture have been separated is released from the fourth opening 10a at the end of the rotation.
As shown by the arrow in the figure, it is sucked into the protective tube 10, where it is filtered by a filter 12 and cleaned.
The air is sucked and exhausted from the clean room body 13 through the exhaust duct 14 to the blower side.

As described above, the dust collector with pre-duster according to the present invention is very convenient because it can perform the pre-dust function of separating coarse particle dust and moisture, and the dust collection function of collecting the remaining fine dust. However, in this invention, the filter is suspended inside a protective tube (cyclone tube) that swirls the suctioned or blown dust-containing air and moisture, so the pre-dust and dust collector are completely integrated. This eliminates the need to provide a dedicated space for the pre-duster inside the dust collector or reduce the number of filters to install the pre-duster, and provides a dust collector that is approximately the same size as a conventional dust collector and has a pre-duster function. It is possible to demonstrate the advantages that can be achieved.

In addition, the protective tube that completely surrounds the filter and protects it from various types of coarse particle dust such as metal chips and abrasives prevents water (liquid) that is sucked in with dust-containing air from entering or adsorbing to the filter side. Therefore, the dust collector with a pre-duster of the present invention can be used in both dry and wet conditions, and is a practical product that can be manufactured compactly and at low cost. Coupled with its high properties, it is suitable for use in, for example, dry or wet pipe lining work.
