When assembled in a device that is prone to moisture, the amount of natural discharge due to discharge between pole pieces and lead pieces increases, accelerating the deterioration of battery function, as well as poor contact in the power supply circuit due to contact corrosion. This causes inconveniences such as not lighting up when used in an emergency after long-term storage.

According to the present invention, this object is achieved by sealing the open end of the container containing the battery with a light-emitting window section having a small light bulb, and disposing it between the electric circuit connecting the light bulb and the battery. The tip of the operating rod of the switch faces the front of the window, and the cap covering the window keeps the entire container, including the window, sealed, and the operating rod is held against its tendency to move. This can be achieved by configuring the switch to be kept in the open operating position.

According to the above configuration, the can-shaped flashlight housing housing the power battery and the light-emitting bulb is kept at low humidity because the inside of the can is sealed during storage.
Furthermore, this state can be maintained for a long period of time until the can is opened.

One end of the contact piece 19 and a spring 20 are sandwiched between the opening end of the receiving hole 16 and the spring 20, and the spring 20 gives the rod 15 a tendency to move in the protruding direction. The can body 1 fitted with the can has a pull-top type cap body 21 on its open end face by pushing the tip of the operating rod 15 into the can against the expansion force of the spring 20. It is attached and sealed by rolling up the opening edge, and at the same time, the tip of the assembly tube 10 is pressed down with the rolling tightening edge 21'.
In addition to preventing the cylinder 10 and the batteries 4, 4... from falling out, the tip of the operating rod 15 is pushed into the can against the urging force, and in this state, it is integrated with the rod 10. The free end 19' of the contact electrode 19, which moves in the opposite direction, is in a position away from the flange 7' of the anode piece 7, and the switch is in an open state.

As the portion 9 is exposed, the operating rod 15, which has been pushed by the cap body 21 and has been in the open position, moves to the left in FIG. 1 due to the biasing force. This also causes the contact piece 19 to move and its free end 19'
The protruding position of the contact piece 19 and the operating rod 18 (the position shown by the chain line in the figure) is restricted at the position where the contact piece 19 and the operating rod 18 come into contact with the flange edge.

As described above, according to the flashlight of the present invention, the light emitting part consisting of a battery and a small light bulb is housed and sealed inside the can, and the can can be opened by removing the cap body when in use.
Since the built-in switch is closed to turn on the light, it is possible to keep the humidity inside the can low during sealed storage through manufacturing control, preventing natural discharge of the stored battery, and protecting the switch part, electrode pieces, etc. Since it is possible to prevent rust from forming on contact surfaces, long-term storage of about 3 to 5 years is possible.
Excellent waterproofness until use by opening the can,
The flashlight of the present invention is extremely effective when used as an emergency flashlight or an outdoor flashlight.
