Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In FIGS. 1 and 2, reference numeral 1 denotes a sheet for surrounding a culture medium, and in this example, the sheet is formed into a rectangular bag shape. For example, the dimension A in FIG. 2 is about 13 cm, and the height B is about 24 cm. The bag may have another shape.
The sheet 1 has a large number of micropores which allow the passage of air for the cultivation of mushroom hyphae. The micropores are sized to prevent passage of bacteria (spores of bacteria). Generally, the spores of various bacteria have a head of 5 to 6 microns and a body length of 6 to 8 microns, so the micropores are 4 to 5 microns, which is smaller than that. Nonwoven fabric is used as the sheet 1 having such fine pores. It may be a woven fiber cloth or a film. Further, it is preferable to use those formed of a material capable of thermocompression bonding. Reference numeral 2 denotes the mouth portion of the sheet 1 formed into the bag shape. Reference numeral 3 denotes a portion of the mouth portion 2 which is sealed, for example, thermocompression-bonded, and 4 denotes a well-known medium which is surrounded and sealed by a sheet.

Next, the production of mushroom mycelium using the sheet 1 will be described. First, in the state of FIG. 2, a medium (well-known artificial medium) 4 is put into the bag-shaped sheet 1 from the mouth 2. As for the amount to be inserted, the height C in FIG.
The amount is about 1 cm. Next, the mouth portion 2 is sealed as indicated by reference numeral 3 to seal the medium 4 inside. Then sterilize it. For example, as is well known, it is sterilized by steaming in a sterilization pot. Next, the mouth portion 2 is cut at a portion under the seal portion 3, for example, indicated by reference numeral 5 to open the mouth portion 2, and an inoculum of mushrooms (for example, shiitake mushrooms) is planted in the medium 4 inside, and under the cut portion 5. The mouth portion 2 is sealed again at the portion 6 of FIG. In this state, as is well known, the temperature, humidity and the like are appropriately maintained, and the mycelia of the mushroom are cultured in the medium 4. The culture period is, for example, about 3 months. When the culture is completed, mycelia are completed in the medium 4. In the mycelium thus produced, the sheet 1 is removed to generate mushrooms (for example, shiitake mushrooms), or only the upper part of the bag-shaped sheet 1 is cut and opened, as is conventionally done. Mushrooms are generated from there (for example, shimeji mushrooms).

In the process of culturing the mycelium, since the medium 4 is surrounded and sealed by the sheet 1, external bacteria do not enter the medium 4, and the medium 4 is kept in a state suitable for the growth of mushroom mycelia. . Further, the air outside the sheet 1 is supplied toward the medium 4 inside through a large number of fine holes in the sheet 1, so that the growth and multiplication of mushroom mycelia is vigorous. In particular, since air is supplied from the entire periphery of the medium 4 through a large number of fine holes existing in the entire sheet 1, the above-mentioned mushroom fungus has a high metabolic activity such as shiitake mushroom and a large amount of air demand. Even if there is, a sufficiently large amount of air can be supplied to it, and the growth of mycelia can be promoted.

In the above-mentioned culture process, nutrients and enzymes are added to the medium 4 as needed. The method is the same as in the case of the above inoculation. That is, the mouth portion 2 of the bag is cut under the sealing portion 6, necessary additives are added to the medium 4, and the mouth portion 2 is sealed again. For these tasks,
It is advisable to prepare the bag-shaped sheet 1 with a slightly long length so that the above-mentioned cutting and resealing can be performed.

Next, when the sheet 1 as described above is used,
Aeration is performed throughout the sheet 1 so that a sufficiently large amount of air can be given to the medium 4. Therefore, the medium 4 of the same size as the conventional one, for example, a medium of about 1.0 to 1.2 kg, and a larger one can be used. A medium, for example, a medium of about 3.0 kg can be produced. Such a large-sized medium can allow mushrooms to be formed into a large size, improve the quality of mushrooms, and provide a sufficient amount of cells in the medium. Further, since air can be uniformly supplied to the medium 4 from the entire circumference thereof, the mycelia can be rapidly grown.

Next, FIG. 3 showing a different embodiment of the present application will be described. In this example, the transparent portion 10 is provided on a part of the sheet 1e. The transparent portion 10 is formed by partially making the non-woven sheet 1e transparent by a well-known transparent treatment with a chemical. When such a transparent portion 10 is provided, the state of the medium 4e inside can be observed from the outside through the transparent portion 10, which is convenient for monitoring the growth state of mycelia in the medium 4e. Further, the transparent portion 10 formed by the above-mentioned transparentizing treatment has no air permeability. Therefore, the air permeability of the sheet 1e as a whole can be adjusted by appropriately selecting the area of the transparent portion 10.
The air permeability may be adjusted by selecting the above area according to the type of medium, the nature of mushrooms, and the culture method.
In addition, parts that are considered to be the same or equivalent in configuration to those in the previous figure in terms of function are denoted by the same reference numerals as those in the previous figure with the letter e added to omit redundant description.

Further, in the above culturing process, even if the medium 4 is sealed by the sheet 1 as described above, the air for culturing the mycelium of the mushroom is supplied to the medium through a large number of micropores of the sheet 1. Therefore, there is an effect that the hyphae of mushrooms can be actively grown and proliferated. As a result, there is a usefulness that the production of mushroom mycelium can be performed with high reliability.
