This container consists of a container body 1 in which the liquid content is accommodated, a lower cap 2 screwed onto the mouth 1a of the container body 1, and an upper cap 3 made of synthetic resin screwed onto the lower cap 2. . The lower cap 2 includes an outer cylindrical portion 2a that engages with the mouth portion 1a of the container body 1, and an outer cylindrical portion 2a that isolates the inside of the container body 1 from outside air.
It is formed by a partition plate portion 2b that partitions the inside. This partition plate part 2b has a container main body 1.
A spout pipe 2c and a liquid return port 2d are provided to communicate the inside and outside air. Also upper cap 3
is a top plate part 3a and a peripheral wall part 3 hanging from its periphery.
b is formed into a cup shape, and a screw 3c is formed on the outer periphery of the open end side. A seal ring portion 3d having an inverted L-shaped cross section is formed slightly above the portion of the peripheral wall portion 3b of the upper cap 3 where the screw 3c is provided.

In the case of this container, when the upper cap 3 is screwed onto the lower cap 2, the seal ring portion 3d of the upper cap 3 contacts the inner surface of the upper end (hereinafter abbreviated as seal surface) 2e of the peripheral wall portion 3b of the lower cap 2. By being inscribed, the inside of the container is isolated from the outside air, thereby preventing the contents from flowing out.

``Problems to be Solved by the Invention'' By the way, the conventional lower cap 2 of the container described above is usually manufactured by injection molding a synthetic resin such as polyethylene.

However, the outer cylindrical portion 2a of the lower cap 2 made of such synthetic resin has a thick portion 2f that is connected to the partition plate portion 2b and is prone to sink. In many cases, the outer cylindrical portion 2a is warped outward (in the direction of arrow F in FIG. 2), or the outer cylinder portion 2a is formed in an elliptical shape. There was a problem in that a gap D was created between the seal ring part 2e and the seal ring part 3d of the upper cap 3 (hereinafter referred to as seal part A), and the sealing performance of the container was impaired.

In particular, when it comes to large-sized liquid containers with large diameters, it becomes more difficult to maintain good dimensional accuracy during manufacturing, so gaps are likely to form between the seals A of the upper cap 3 and lower cap 2, resulting in poor sealing performance. In order to produce a stable container, it may be necessary to create a complicated design for the seal part A, change the design of the outer cylinder part 2, or add a separate buffer material to the seal part A between the caps 2 and 3. This created the need to provide a container, which caused dissatisfaction with the rise in the manufacturing cost of the container.

Foamed plastic is made by foaming synthetic resins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS resin, and polystyrene. Various means can be used to foam these resins, among which foaming agents are preferably used. As a foaming agent,
Degradable blowing agents are preferably used. Separable blowing agents include azodicarbonamide blowing agents, N,
N′-dinitrosopentamethylenetetramine (DNPT), oxybissulfonyl hydrazide blowing agents, etc. can be used, but carbonate/organic acid blowing agents or carbonate/organic acid salt blowing agents are especially recommended. desirable. Various carbonates can be used such as sodium hydrogen carbonate (NaHCO 3 ), sodium carbonate (Na 2 CO 3 ), potassium hydrogen carbonate (KHCO 3 ), potassium carbonate (KCO 3 ), and calcium hydrogen carbonate (CaHCO 3 ). Among them, sodium hydrogen carbonate is preferably used. In addition, as organic acids and organic acid salts, polycarboxylic acids such as citric acid, tartaric acid, malic acid, and succinic acid can be used, but among them, citric acid and its hydrates, monosodium citrate, Hydrates of trisodium citrate, disodium citrate, etc. are preferably used. A blowing agent composed of a carbonate and an organic acid (or an organic acid salt) is suitable because the thermal decomposition reaction during gas generation is an endothermic reaction. The molar ratio of the carbonate to the organic acid (or organic acid salt) is preferably about 9:1 to 1:2, particularly about 4:1 to 1:1. When the proportion of organic acid is high, the foaming ratio becomes low and it becomes difficult to foam the synthetic resin. Furthermore, when the proportion of the organic acid is small, there is a disadvantage that the cell structure in the obtained molded product becomes rough.

In addition, in a blowing agent consisting of two components like this,
In order to increase the chemical stability of the blowing agent, at least one component is coated with waxes, starches, powdery substances such as metal soaps, or oily substances such as mineral oil, vegetable oil, and plasticizers. It is desirable to prevent contact between both components.

The above-mentioned foaming agent can be used in powder form, but it is preferable to use it in the form of a masterbatch, since the dispersibility and moldability of the foaming agent can be improved. It is desirable to mix about 10 to 20% of a blowing agent into the masterbatch. Further, it is desirable that the amount added to this masterbatch is about 1.0 to 2.4%. If the amount of masterbatch added is less than the above range, the dispersibility of the blowing agent will deteriorate. Furthermore, if the amount of masterbatch added exceeds the above range, air bubbles and unfoamed masterbatch will appear on the surface of the molded product, resulting in a problem that the appearance of the molded product will deteriorate.

The foaming ratio of the lower cap molded from such foamed plastic is preferably about 1.4 to 1.5 times.

``Operation'' When the lower cap is manufactured from foamed plastic, fine air bubbles are generated intensively in the thick part where the outer cylinder part and the partition plate part are connected. this is,
When molding the lower cap, the resin that forms the center of this continuous part is cooled last as it gradually cools down from the outer surface, and this seems to be because this part is kept at a high temperature for a long time. .

Then, the volumetric shrinkage is suppressed by the uniform fine bubbles generated in a concentrated manner in this portion, and the phenomenon in which the continuous portion of the outer cylinder portion and the partition plate portion is dented due to molding shrinkage of the material is prevented. As a result, the outer surface side of the outer cylindrical portion is stretched toward the continuous portion, and it is possible to prevent the outer cylindrical portion from warping outward.

First, when we examined the outer cylinder part 2a of the manufactured lower cap 2 by applying a ruler to it, we found that the gap formed between the outer cylinder part 2a and the ruler was a little less than 0.2 mm at most, and the outer cylinder part was located at the upper end. It was confirmed that it was formed straight from the top to the bottom end as designed. By the way, when this lower cap 2 was made of polypropylene and examined, the minimum gap was 0.3 mm, and the maximum gap was 0.5 mm.

Then, when the diameter of the upper end of the outer cylindrical portion 2a of the lower cap 2 was measured, the difference in outer diameter between the maximum diameter portion and the minimum diameter portion was 0.4 mm at maximum. On the contrary,
The lower cap 2 made of polypropylene had a difference between the maximum diameter and the minimum diameter of about 0.5 to 0.8 mm.
From this result, it was confirmed that the outer cylindrical portion 2a of the lower cap 2 of this container was formed into a good circular shape.
