Anionic surfactants such as α-olefin sulfonates have been widely used. However, all of these surfactants have a certain degree of skin irritation and, when used continuously, have the drawback of roughening the skin. In contrast,
Amidoamine-type amphoteric surfactants are known to be extremely mild surfactants with low irritation to the skin and ocular mucosa, and recently, for example, JP-A-63-128100.
Amidoamine-type amphoteric surfactants having high versatility such as those disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. JP-A-2004-242242 have begun to be used as an active agent for a shampoo base instead of an anionic surfactant. However, in order to impart conditioning properties to a shampoo based on an amidoamine-type amphoteric surfactant, addition of a cationic polymer which has been conventionally used as a conditioning agent, gives a moist feeling during washing and rinsing,
Although softness is imparted to some extent, it may cause unpleasant stickiness in the process of drying the hair, or the complex of the cationic polymer and the surfactant may solidify as the hair dries, causing stiffness, etc. It did not reach the desired feeling.

A shampoo composition containing a polymer improves the smoothness and softness of the hair during washing and rinsing, and can impart a smooth and moist feel to the hair in all processes from the drying process to the drying process. Moreover, they have found that the skin irritation is low, and completed the present invention.

When these salts are used, they tend to contain inorganic salts as contaminants, but except for some or all of these inorganic salts, the content of contaminant inorganic salts should be 1% by weight (hereinafter, simply indicated as%) or less. It is preferable to use an amidoamine-type amphoteric surfactant desalted in the above.

In particular, the secondary amide amino acid represented by the following general formula (1a) is ammonium or triethanolamine. The salt prepared in (1) and prepared in such a manner that the amount of the contaminating inorganic salt is 1% or less is particularly preferable because the polymer which is water-soluble and insoluble in the concentrated inorganic solution can be easily added in an amount of 0.05 to 10%.
