The case-hardening steel rings that are commonly used in spinning and twisting machines lack the wear resistance to travelers under the harsh operating conditions of today's spinning mills. A method of nitriding the surface of the ring or forming a diffusion layer of intermetallic carbide is also adopted, but the cured layer has low chewing property and is easily peeled off, and the traveler is unsuitable for seizing and stabilizing the seizure early. It had the drawback of not being able to operate.

It had the drawback of causing wear.

By forming a lubricating synthetic resin film or a synthetic resin film containing a lubricating substance on the surface, a composite film is formed by filling the minute recesses on the hard metal plating surface with the lubricating synthetic resin. By doing so, it is possible to provide an optimal spinning ring for spinning and twisting in high speed and high production.

By doing so, the initial familiarity with the traveler becomes good, and since it has lubricity and wear resistance, it is possible to maintain a stable spinning state for a long time even under high spinning speed spinning conditions.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, after cutting a low carbon steel containing C: 0.15% into a predetermined ring 1 shape, carburizing and tempering is performed on at least the flange surface 2 of the ring. Then, a hard chrome plating layer 3 having a thickness of 50 μ is applied, and minute recesses 4 are provided on the chrome-plated surface by an electrochemical, chemical, or mechanical method as shown in FIG.

である。As described above, according to the present invention, since the lubricant layer is formed on the frictional sliding portion between the ring and the traveler with the above structure, the initial familiarity of the ring with the traveler is greatly improved and the life of the ring is improved. Extend. Further, since a hard chrome plating layer is formed on the base, the life is further extended, and long-term use becomes possible. Further, since the above-mentioned hard metal plating surface is provided with minute recesses and is filled with a synthetic resin containing a lubricating substance, the lubricating effect is maintained for a long period of time even after the lubricating synthetic resin film is lost by friction with the traveler. It Therefore, it is an invention having excellent effects such as less yarn breakage than the initial stage, a low average yarn breakage level in the long term, and the possibility of being used under high rotation and high speed spinning conditions.
