Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a sterilizing and disinfecting liquid useful for the steriliza tion and disinfection of hands and fingers in the medical and clinical fields and capable of effectively sterilizing hands, fingers, etc., by using benzalkonium chloride, ethanol and water as essential components. CONSTITUTION:The objective sterilizing and disinfecting liquid contains benzalkonium chloride (BAC), ethanol and water at ratios of (1-50):(50-3,000):(500-10,000). In the case of using the disinfection liquid as a wiping sterilization and disinfection, the liquid is impregnated in a nonwoven fabric to obtain a sterilizing and disinfecting material. The nonwoven cloth is preferably made from 100% cotton from the viewpoints of moisture-retention, feeling to the skin, wiping performance, etc.

Conventionally, various chemicals have been used as sterilizing and disinfecting solutions in the medical and clinical fields. Among them, benzalkonium chloride and ethanol have few side effects (irritation). Moreover, since they are excellent in terms of economy, they are widely used by themselves. However, in recent medical and clinical fields, resistant bacteria to various antibiotics have emerged, and among them, the emergence of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) has bothered the parties concerned, and the development of an even better bactericidal disinfectant solution. Is desired. The inventors have continued research on germicidal disinfectants in these fields for many years, but when a mixture of benzalkonium chloride and ethanol is used as a germicidal disinfectant, it has a surprising synergistic effect, and each of them is used alone. The present invention has been completed, knowing that the bactericidal effect is greater than that used in.
In addition, a sterilizing / disinfecting solution in the medical / clinical field is often used as a sterilizing / disinfecting material obtained by previously impregnating gauze or absorbent cotton. That is, the most frequently used form is to wipe (wipe) hands, fingers, etc. with gauze, cotton, etc. impregnated with a sterilizing solution. However, when the skin (affected area) or the like is wiped with gauze or absorbent cotton impregnated with a sterilizing / disinfecting solution, the fibers on which the gauze, cotton, etc. are frayed tend to remain on the surface of the skin after sterilization. The fibers remaining on the surface of the skin and the like are easily contaminated, become a breeding site for microorganisms (pathogenic bacteria), and are difficult to sterilize, which is a problem. Therefore, the inventors, for the substrate to be impregnated with a sterilizing and disinfecting solution, as a result of various studies, in place of gauze, absorbent cotton, etc., no fibers remain after sterilizing and disinfecting the nonwoven fabric,
The inventors have completed the present invention knowing that the bactericidal effect is also good. Furthermore, in recent medical and clinical fields, resistant bacteria to various antibiotics have emerged, among which methicillin-resistant Stap
The emergence of hylococcus aureus (MRSA) has plagued stakeholders.

(2) Test agent (a) Test disinfectant solution of benzalkonium chloride main material Benzalkonium chloride (10 w / v) (Fujiyakuko, hereinafter abbreviated as BAC) was used as a stock solution with distilled water to remove benzalkonium chloride. Prepare 100x, 1000x, and 10000x solutions. This is 100 times, 1000 times, and 1000 times
Use 0-fold diluted BAC. Also, ethanol (Wako Pure Chemical Industries, 99.5% test grade) was added to each of the above diluting solutions so that the final concentrations were 10% and 30%, and this was tested and disinfected with benzalkonium chloride main agent. Use as liquid. (B) Alcohol disinfecting solution Ethanol is added to distilled water to a final concentration of 10% and 30%, and this is used as an alcohol disinfecting solution. (3) Test bacterium (a) Staphylococcus aureus IFO 12732 (FDA 209P) (b) Escherichin coli. IFO 3301 (4) Test method Fold a cotton non-woven fabric of 15 cm x 7.5 cm into four,
This is impregnated with 2 ml each of the test agent (2 ml of distilled water is impregnated as a control). A 0.1 ml of a suspension (10 7 cells / ml) of the test bacterium is wrapped in the cloth soaked in the drug-impregnated cloth, and the cloth is impregnated with the cloth so that the cloth may be contacted for 10 seconds and 30 seconds. Immediately after the end of the action, it is taken in a bag for a stomacher, serially diluted with 100 ml of a physiological saline solution, and 1 ml of each diluted solution is pour-cultured in a Tributykes-Soy agar medium. After culturing at 37 ° C for 24 hours, the number of surviving bacteria is counted and the disinfection effect is observed. (5) Test results The test results are shown in Tables 1 and 2 below.

<Test Example 3> (1) Purpose A cotton nonwoven fabric of a certain size is impregnated with a disinfectant, and the bactericidal effect is evaluated when the bacterial solution is allowed to act for 30 seconds and 2 minutes. (2) Test agent (test disinfectant solution of benzalkonium chloride main material) Benzalkonium chloride (10 w / v) (Fujiyakuko, hereinafter abbreviated as BAC) is used as a stock solution with distilled water, 50 times, 100 times
Prepare the double solution. Ethanol (Wako Pure Chemicals 9
9.5% special grade) is added so that the final concentration is 10% and 30%, and this is used as a test disinfectant for benzalkonium chloride benzalkonium chloride main material. (3) Test bacterium (a) Staphylococcus aureus

This is impregnated with 2 ml each of the test agent (2 ml of distilled water is impregnated as a control). This chemical-impregnated cloth was packed in a product pack and allowed to stand at room temperature for 1 week.
The 0.1ml of 0 7 / ml) impregnated in the enveloping cloth, 30 seconds and 2 minutes, contacting action while rubbing. Immediately after the end of the action, it is taken up in a bag for a stomacher, 100 ml of physiological saline is added thereto, and the bag is treated with a stomacher for 30 seconds. This solution is serially diluted with physiological saline, and 1 ml of each diluted solution is pour-cultured on Tributycase soy agar medium. After culturing at 37 ° C for 24 hours, the number of bacteria is counted and compared with the control impregnated with distilled water. (5) Test results Test results are shown in Tables 4 and 5.
