Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove a part of sheet papers to be fed and process respective sheet papers by installing a guide which positions the sheet papers on a paper receiver for circular movement of the paper receiver to utilize the section positioned until the positioned sheet papers drop upon a paper discharging conveyer from the paper receiver. CONSTITUTION:Sheet papers S from a printing machine or the like are fed upon a paper receiver 7 one by one. As the fed sheet papers S travel, they are positioned by a guide 5 to keep the positioning condition until they are dropped from the paper receiver 7.

[Prior Art] Conventionally, a paper discharge device in a printing press or the like is composed of a so-called impeller having a plurality of arc-shaped receivers attached around the impeller, and a paper discharge conveyor connected to the impeller. Then, the pieces of filter paper that are intermittently sent in from a printing machine or the like are received by the receiving part of the impeller and decelerated, and then they are dropped onto a paper discharge conveyor and are discharged in a sashimi-like manner.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the above-mentioned conventional sheet discharging device, pieces of paper from a printing machine, etc. are continuously discharged directly onto a sheet discharging conveyor via an impeller. are overlapping like sashimi at irregular pitches. Therefore, when performing post-processing such as pasting another piece of paper onto a piece of paper, it is necessary to accumulate the pieces of paper on the paper discharge conveyor, transport them to another location, and perform the processing off-line. However, there is a problem in that processing paper pieces off-line in this way is inefficient.

The guide 5 is made up of a plurality of elongated plates 11, and each plate 11 is installed in a tapered shape between the single teeth so as not to interfere with the single tooth shaped receiving part 7. As the receiver 7 moves from top to bottom, the signature S on the receiver 7 is positioned at a fixed position. In order to facilitate positioning of the signatures S, the guide 5 is finely vibrated by a cam mechanism (not shown) or the like.

In FIG. 1, a signature S is conveyed from a folding machine of a printing press to a paper discharge device while being held by a conveyor 1. As shown in FIG. In this embodiment, the signature S is conveyed with its spine facing forward. The signature S that has been conveyed is on the conveyor l
It is thrown into the receiving part 7 from the end with great force, hits the stopper member 8, and is placed on the receiving part 7 with some bounce. Thereafter, as the receiving part 7 descends, it is driven toward the stop member 8 by the guide 5, and is finally positioned between the stop member 8 and the guide 5 at the lower end of the guide 5. As described above, the signature S is positioned at a fixed position on the receiving part 7. Then, the signature S remains positioned until the receiving portion 7 further descends and the signature S falls onto the paper discharge conveyor 2.

[Effect of chucking] As explained above, according to the paper discharging device of the present invention, the positioned state of the paper piece positioned by the guide is maintained until it falls from the receiving section to the paper discharging conveyor. Therefore, this positioning section can be used to extract part of the paper pieces and process them into individual pieces of paper.
By incorporating a device that performs post-printing processes into the paper ejecting device, work efficiency can be improved.
