しかして本発明は、棒状の本体の一端にペルチエ素子の
冷却面で冷却される冷却板を配置するとともに、本体内
にペルチエ素子の放熱面に接する放熱フィンと放熱フィ
ンの冷却用の冷却ファンとが配設され、冷却板の表面が
棒状の本体の軸方向に対して斜めに配置されていること
に第1の特徴を有し、冷却板の表面は凸面状に形成され
ているとともに、斜め内側が略円状、斜め外側の先端側
が小さくなった略三角形状をなしていることに第2の特
徴を有し、更に本体の内面には、放熱フィンの外形に小
間隔をおいて沿う隙間板が設けられていることに特徴を
有している。
[作用コ
本発明の第1の特徴とするところによれば、ペルチエ素
子によって冷却される冷却板を容易に顔面に当てること
ができるものであり、第2の特徴とするところによれば
、顔面の頬はもちろん、鼻の近辺のような凹凸の大きい
ところにも冷却板を確実に当てることができるものであ
り、また第3の特徴とするところによれば、冷却ファン
による風が放熱フィンに沿って流れるために放熱フィン
の放熱効果が良好となり、これ故に冷却板の冷却が効率
よくなされるものである。
U実施例コ
以下本発明を図示の実施例に基づいて詳述すると、この
冷却美顔器は、棒状の本体1の先端の斜めに形成された
開口部に、アルミニウム等の熱良導体からなる冷却板2
を配設したもので、この冷却板2の背面には、ペルチエ
素子8の冷却面が接しており、ペルチエ素子8の放熱面
には、熱良導体からなる放熱基台10を介して放熱フィ
ン11が接続されている。第4図に示すように、互いに
ビス23で連結される放熱基台10と冷却板2との間に
挟持されたペルチエ素子10は、冷却板2を冷却すると
ともに放熱基台10側に放熱を行うものであり、放熱基
台10に伝達された熱は、放熱フィン11で外部に放熱
される6
図中9は放熱基台10と冷却板2との間の断熱と防水の
ための断熱ゴムであり、20は本体1の内面から突設さ
れて本体1の内部空間と冷却板2側と放熱フィン11側
とに区切っているリブである。
ここにおける放熱フィン11は、外周面から放射状のフ
ィンを突出させた筒状のものであり、その内部には絶縁
チューブ12を介して温度過昇防止器13が配設されて
いる。また、本体1の上部内面には、第5図に示すよう
に、放熱フィン11の外形に小間隔をおいて沿う形状と
された隙間板24が設けられている。この隙間板24は
、本体1の他端側内部に設けられた冷却ファン16のモ
ータ17による回転で、本体1の一端側の外面に形成さ
れた吸い込み05から本体l内に入った空気が、放熱フ
ィン11の外面に沿って流れるようにして、放熱フィン
11の放熱効果を高めている。
尚、本体1内に流入して放熱フィン11を冷却した空気
は、本体1の他端側に設けられた吐出口19より外部に
排出される。温度過昇防止器13を放熱フィン11の内
部に配置しているのは、冷却ファン16による風の影響
を受けることなく、放熱フィン11の温度を熱伝達で検
出できるようにしているためである。
図中14は冷却ファン16に空気を効率良く流入させる
ための吸い込みリング、18は風の流れを整える整流翼
、15は吸い込みリング14と本体1内面との間に設け
られてペルチエ素子8や温度過昇防止器13への配設を
通すための配線溝、7は電源コードである。
ペルチエ素子8によって冷却される冷却板2は、前述の
ように、本体1の先端に斜めに配設されているわけであ
るが、このために棒状の本体1を持って冷却板2を顔面
に当てる動作を無理なく行うことができるものであって
、本体1の軸方向と冷却板2とが直交する場合にように
手を持ち上げる姿勢をとったりする必要がないものであ
り、また本体1が邪魔になるようなこともないものであ
る。
更に、冷却板2は、その表面が凸面状をなすとともに、
第3図に示すように、斜め内側が略円状を、斜め外側の
先端側が小さくなった略三角形状をなすものとして形成
されており、このために頬や額のような広い部分を冷却
する時には、広い部分を、鼻の周囲のような凹凸のある
部分は先端側の狭い部分を使用することができる。
【発明の効果]
以上のように本発明においては、ペルチエ素子によって
冷却される冷却板を備えているなめに、冷却板を顔面に
当てることで顔面の冷却を行えるものであり、しかも冷
却板が棒状の本体の一端に斜めに設けられているために
、本体を持つ手に無理をかけることなく冷却板を顔面に
当てることができるものであって、顔面の冷却を手軽に
且つ確実に行えるものである。
また、冷却板の表面形状を略三角形状としているために
、顔面の頬のような広い部分はもちろん、鼻の近辺のよ
うな凹凸の大きいところにも冷却板の表面を使いわける
ことで確実に当てることができるものであり、更に放熱
フィンの外形に小間隔を介して沿う隙間板が存在するこ
とは、冷却ファンによる風が放熱フィンに沿って流れる
ことになり、放熱フィンの放熱効果が良好となるために
