ず)に接続される複数のコネクタ1,1,1,…
と、これらの各コネクタ1,1,1,…から引出
される夫々の分岐ワイヤハーネス2及びアース線
3と、これらのワイヤハーネス2とアース線3を
中間ジヨイント4でジヨイントし、かつ束ねてな
る幹線ワイヤハーネス5とからなり、それらのア
ース線3の先端にはアース端子6が取り付けられ
ているものである。従つて、この従来例において
は、その幹線ワイヤハーネス5の数個所に、中間
ジヨイント4が設けられていることから、このワ
イヤハーネスの過激の屈曲あるいは圧縮等により
中間ジヨイント4を保護している絶縁テープ(図
示せず)が破れ、その結果、回路間で短絡(シヨ
ート)を生じる危険性があつた。また多数の中間
ジヨイント4を有することで、そのワイヤハーネ
スの製造作業性が悪く、しかもその整形にも手間
がかかる等の不具合を生じるものであつた。

れらのアース線3の先端(引出し端)に取り付け
られているアース端子6を、例えば車体にねじ付
けするとき、それらのアース端子6を第5図に示
すように重ね合せて、接続するようにしたものも
ある。ところがこのような各アース線3の接続手
段では、2枚のアース端子6を重ね合せて締付け
るのに手間がかかり、また一方のアース端子6の
締付けを忘れてしまう等の問題点もあつた。(実
開昭55−65774号参照)。

端子6の係止爪6bを一方のアース端子6の透孔
6cに位置させて、その両アース端子6,6を重
ね合せた後、一方のアース端子6の係止爪6d及
び6eを、他方のアース端子6の係止爪6a及び
6bの上面と接合されるようにスライドすること
により、両アース端子6と6は一体に重合保持さ
れる。このようにして重合保持される2枚のアー
ス端子6,6の透孔6c内に取付けねじを差し込
んで車体等にねじ付けるものであるが、この構造
のアース端子によれば、取付けねじにより締付け
時のトルクにより、その係止爪6a,6b,6
d,6eが変形してその双方のアース端子を分離
すること、あるいはその再使用が不可能となると
いつた問題点があつた。
