Abstract

PURPOSE:To form various kinds of deflection yokes by providing a notch by which plural ribs provided on the inner surface of a coil frame are divided into at least three parts, and by distributionally winding an insulating coating wire between each rib, or through the notch if required. CONSTITUTION:Plural ribs 3 are provided on the inner surface of a coil frame 8 in the winding direction of an insulating coating wire 2, and a notch 4 for dividing the ribs 3 into at least three parts, is provided. The notch 4 of a certain rib 3 will not be opposed to the notch 4 of an adjacent rib 3 thereto. By distributionally winding the insulating coating wire 2 between each rib 3 or through the notch 4 if required, a horizontal deflection coil 9 is formed. At the time of carrying out distributed winding, each rib 3 can be bridged by the insulating coating wire 2 through a certain notch 4, and the degree of freedom to the distributed winding can be increased, and various kinds of deflection yokes can thus be obtained by one kind of coil frame 8.
