Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent local heating and achieve uniform heating process by furnishing a heat radiation plate, and therein encapsulating a heat emitting element and a specific thermo-medium in liquid state. CONSTITUTION:An electric resistance heat-emitting element 12 inside of a plate- form member 11 consists in a kanthal sheath heater and is arranged meanderingly so as to spread to the overall plate width, wherein the two ends are secured to the side end of the plate-form member 11 through a connection terminal 13. The inside of this plate-form member 11 is filled with a thermo-medium in liquid state in such a way that the heat emitting element 12 is immersed. Examples of this thermo-medium are silicone oil, organic fluoric oil, and alkyl nafthalene which are in liquid state at normal temp., to be selected according to the service temp.

Conventionally used dryers and atmospheric furnaces are equipped with multiple net-like shelves inside a storage container, and the objects to be processed in a dish-shaped container are placed on the shelves and the storage container is opened. It has a structure in which the entire storage container is heated by a heating element provided outside.

When conventional dryers with the above structure perform processing under reduced pressure such as vacuum drying, there is no convection inside the container and heating relies on radiant heat, resulting in poor heat conduction and uneven temperature inside the container. Therefore, there was a problem that a uniform treatment effect could not be achieved. In order to solve this problem, attempts have been made to improve heat conduction by incorporating a heater into the shelf inside the container, but as the area near the heater is locally heated, it is still not possible to obtain a uniform treatment effect. There is no problem.

As the liquid heat medium, a heat medium that is liquid at room temperature, such as silicone oil, organic fluorine oil, or alkylnaphthalene, can be used. These may be appropriately selected depending on the operating temperature. These heat carriers can usually be used stably up to about 300°C. In addition, when using at higher temperatures, I
Low melting point metals such as Zn, Zn, and Pb can be used. However, in this case, it is necessary to electrically insulate the heat medium metal and the heating element. Silicone oil, organic fluorine oil, alkylnaphthalene, etc. are not oxidized in the air after being sealed in the plate heater, so they do not easily deteriorate and can be used for a long period of time. Incidentally, it is preferable to provide the plate heater with an airtightly sealed opening, since this makes it easier to enclose and refill the heating medium.

When the plate heater of the present invention is used as a storage shelf for a dryer, the connection terminal of the heating element mounted inside is provided protruding from the side end of the plate heater, and the connection terminal is connected to the plate support portion on the inner surface of the dryer. Providing a fitting portion for the terminal makes it easier to attach and detach the plate.

After the object to be processed is placed on a storage shelf consisting of the plate heater 10, the door 22 is closed and the object is dried. In this case, since the plate heater 10 is detachably attached, the number of shelves can be increased or decreased depending on the objects to be processed. Furthermore, the entire heat dissipation surface of the plate heater 10 is heated, and local heating does not occur, so that uniform drying processing can be performed.
