イヤにより懸吊するだけで簡単に吊り天井を得る
ことができるものとしてすでに知られている。
(例えば実開昭59−11070号公報) (考案が解決しようとする課題) ところが、従来のこの種自動車用吊り天井材は
両側の巻き込まれる部分にもタツクが部分的に残
つているため、ボデイフランジに天井材主体の両
側を巻き込んで、ウエザストリツプやオープニン
グトリムを嵌合させた際にこれらとの間にタツク
の肉厚分によつて隙間が生じ、適確な緊張状態を
得難いうえに隙間より雨水が浸入するおそれがあ
り、また、前記した巻き込みによつて残つた部分
をナイフ等で切断する際タツク部分が切断し難く
作業性が悪いという問題点があつた。このような
問題を解決するためにタツクの両端部分を予め切
欠いたものも特開昭59−45116号公報や特開昭56
−163972号或いは実開昭54−149016号公報などに
記載されているが、タツクの両端部分を予め切欠
いたものでも残された切欠部分の肉厚が問題とな
り、またこの切欠部分を大きくしたり全く無くす
と巻き込み用部の強度や形状保持力がなくなると
いう問題が生じ、未だ自動車のボデイフランジへ
の巻き込みを適確容易に行えるうえに極めて体裁
よく吊り天井を構成できるものとはいえなかつ
た。

成したタツク部の折曲基部を細幅の帯状溶着部に
より溶着して形成され且つ該帯状溶着部の両端に
はシート状素材の端縁に達する前記タツク部より
は低い薄庇板状の拡幅溶着部が連設されて天井材
主体の両側部分をシート状素材に対し重ね合わせ
可能な拡幅溶着部を有する略平らな巻き込み用部
に形成してあることを特徴とするものである。

溶着部3を形成するとともに該タツク2の両端部
分を全面的に溶着肉薄化し、この溶着肉薄部の下
方部分を前記帯状溶着部3の2倍幅程度の薄庇板
状の拡幅溶着部3aとして切り残されるように各
タツク2の端縁より若干内側の上縁から細帯状溶
着部3に向かう弧状の縦切込線6とその下端に達
するように溶着肉薄部の端縁中間から略水平に横
切込線7を切り込んで形成してある。5は天井材

用部であつて、該巻き込み用部5は1枚物のシー
ト状素材の裏側にシート状素材の端縁に達する前

せ可能に形成して巻き込み時に略平らとなるもの
としてあるので、巻き込み部分にタツクの厚みに
よる凹凸が生ずることがなく、ここに嵌合されて
いるオープニングトリム11やウエザストリツプ
との間に隙間が生ずることがないうえに帯状溶着
部3およびこれと一連の拡幅溶着部3aの存在に
より各部が均一に緊張された状態となつて皺寄り
やたるみの生ずるおそれがない。しかもワイヤ挿
通部4がシート状素材に折曲形成したタツク2を
その折曲基部に沿つた細帯状溶着部3をもつて袋
状として形成したものであつて表面側には線状模
様が残るだけで極めて体裁もよく、内装効果に優

が生じることがなく自動車のボデイフランジへの
巻き込みを適確容易に行えるうえ、拡幅溶着部は
薄庇板状で切断容易なために巻き込み用部の余剰
端縁を巻き込み後に切断除去する仕上作業も容易
で極めて体裁よく吊り天井を構成できるもので、
従来のこの種自動車吊り天井材の問題点を解決し
たものとして実用的価値極めて大なものである。
