【考案の詳細な説明】
(イ) 産業上の利用分野
本考案は、ベニヤ単板の前後端縁を対照的な斜
面のスカーフに切削加工したものの板面に接着剤
を塗布して各層毎にずらし重ねに積層した単板積
層材、所謂LVL(ラミネーテツドベニヤランバ
ー)乃至はLVB(ラミネーテツドベニヤボード)
と通称される単板積層材を生産する際に利用され
る、ベニヤ単板のスカーフ加工装置に係るもので

れて移動する木板の側縁を切り揃える丸カツタを
設け、側縁を切り揃えられたのちの木板の側縁外
面を斜めに切削する丸カツタを木板の外側の方向
に丸カツタの切削部分が移動しつつ木板の斜切削
を行い、切削後の木板が丸カツタより離れるよう
な位置となるようにドラムの外周適所に適宜の角

上記従来例に開示されているベニヤ単板のよう
な薄い木板のスカーフ加工装置は、被加工単板の
何れか一側の端縁をドラムに巻付けてその上から
ベルトで挟着しながら繊維方向の直交方向に搬送
してその一側の端縁を斜め垂直方向から軸装した
丸カツタにより斜めのスカーフに切削加工するも
のであつたから、被加工単板の前後端縁の精密加
工や同時加工が出来ず、都度これを反転して二工
程に亘つて再加工し、加工端縁に残留する髭様の
切り残りはこれを止むなしと許容していたもので
あるから品質も生産性も低く、材質を損傷するこ
とも多く、且つその搬送方向が繊維方向の直交方
向であつたので、多分に存在する被加工単板の角
度不良から自然に惹起される端縁の出入を事前に
調整するため、斜め切削の前に丸カツタで都度端
縁を切り揃える必要があり、従つて材料歩留りの
低下にもつながつていた等の難点があつたものを

対照的な斜面3a,3bに同時切削により精密加
工するものである。またこの同時切削による精密
加工が済めば前記加工切削部材も押圧機構及びア
ンビル部材も共に常態位置に復元して前記間欠搬
送コンベアによる被加工単板の搬出と搬入を再開
するように、間欠的な搬送と押圧と切削による前
後縁のスカーフの同時精密加工動作を繰返し行え

続制御するようにしたローラ、ベルト、チエン等
からなる間欠搬送コンベア7が直列に架設されて
おり、また該間欠搬送コンベア7の前端縁加工場
所の直下からは斜め上方へ向けて往復動自在に、
前記被加工単板1の前端縁スカーフ加工用回転切
削部材8が架設されている。更にまた該前端縁ス
カーフ加工用回転切削部材8に対して前記被加工
単板1の繊維方向の長さ、即ち罫引長さ、例えば
90cm程度の長さに対応した位置に、前記間欠搬送
コンベア7の後端縁加工場所の直上から斜め下方
へ向けて往復動自在に前記被加工単板1の後端縁
スカーフ加工用回転切削部材9が架設されていて
前後1対のスカーフ加工用回転切削部材8,9を
構成している。而して前記前後1対のスカーフ加
工用回転切削部材8,9は、プレーナー、グライ
ンダー等からなるカツターヘツド8a,9a、モ
ーター8b,9b、摺動軸受8c,9c、クラン
ク装置その他からなる往復動機構8d,9d等に
よつて7〜14°程度の傾斜角度を往復動可能に装
置されているものである。次にまた前記前後端縁
スカーフ加工用回転切削部材8,9のそれぞれに
対応して、前記間欠搬送コンベア7の列間に、前
記被加工単板1の端縁圧締用の固定部材10a,
11aと可動部材10b,11bおよびエアーシ
リンダー10c,11c等からなる押圧機構1
0,11と、該押圧機構10,11の前記被加工
単板1の前後端縁側に軟質合成樹脂板等からなる
アンビル部材12,13が各別に架設されてい
て、全体として被加工単板1をそのまま剛性のあ
る繊維方向へ間欠搬送コンベア7により搬入しな
がらその前後端縁を1対の回転切削部材8,9に
より対照的な斜面に同時に且つ切り残しのないよ
うに精密に切削加工して逐次後段工程へ間欠的に
搬出するように装置されている、ワンウエイ型の

的に搬出するように装置されている、ワンウエイ
型のスカーフ加工装置であるので、従来装置にあ
つた被加工単板の前後端縁の同時加工や精密加工
が出来なかつたこと、およびその搬送方向が繊維
方向の直交方向のため、多分に存在する被加工単
板の角度不良から事前に端縁の出入を切り揃えな
ければならなかつたこと等の機能上の不都合を根
本的に排除したものであり、本考案装置による時
はアンビル部材上に被加工単板を押し当てた姿態
でスカーフ加工が出来るので、その加工端縁には
髭様の切り残りが全く残留せず、その簡潔構成の
ワンウエイ型の間欠搬送工程により能率的なスカ
ーフ加工が出来ると共に、その間に行われる被加
工単板の制止動作も間欠搬送コンベアによつて総
てこれを行うので、前端縁をストツパー等に追突
させてこれを行う時のような被加工単板の材質を
損傷するような惧れも全くなくなつて安全に高速
作業が出来、且つ従来装置のような余分な切り揃
え作業やそのための装置をも排除するようにした
ので、品質も材料歩留りも経済性も格段に向上さ
せることが出来た、実施効果の顕著な考案であ

して前記間欠搬送コンベアの列間に各別に架設し
た前記被加工単板の端縁圧締用押圧機構及びアン
ビル部材とからなることを特徴とするベニヤ単板
