Claims (5)
- 1.複数の動作シリンダ(1、2、3、4)と、対応する数の補助シリンダ(5 、6、7、8)とを有し、補助シリンダの各々は関連する動作シリンダと連通し ており、各動作シリンダには動作ピストン(9、10、11、12)が動作シリ ンダ(1、2、3、4)内で往復するように配置されておりかつ第一のクランク シャフト(17)に、連接棒(9a、10a、11a、12a)を介して、操作 連結されており、各補助シリンダ(5〜8)には補助ピストン(13、14、1 5、16)が補助シリンダ(5〜8)内で往復運動するように配置されておりか つ第二のクランクシャフト(18)に、動作ピストンと同じ態様で、操作連結さ れており、さらに、前述のクランクシャフト間に作用して補助ピストン(13〜 16)の往復運動が動作ピストン(9〜12)の往復運動の振動数に関連した振 動で生するのを確実にし、かつ任意の時点にエンジンにかかる負荷に依存してい るそれぞれ動作シリンダと補助シリンダ(1〜4、5〜8)の圧縮比の生成の目 的でシヤフト(20、21)間に角変位を与える装置(19、20、21)を有 した種類の内燃機関のための装置において、前記の角変位を与える装置ばそれぞ れの補助ピストン(13〜16)での燃焼の効果から生じたエネルギーを第二の クランクシヤフト(18)から第一のクランクシャフト(17)へ伝達するよう に配列されており、そして、それぞれ補助ピストン(13〜16)と第二のクラ ンクシャフト(18)間の操作連結は補助ピストンの膨張運動、すなわち動作ピ ストン(9〜12)から離れる動きを許容し、第二のクランクシャフトの180 度の回転より大きく広がり、そして摩擦損失を生ぜしめる補助シリンダの壁に対 する補助ピストン(13〜16)の側方力を減ぜしめるように配列されているこ とを特徴とする内燃機関のための装置。
- 2.前述の装値はそれぞれのクランクシャフト(17、18)上の歯付きベルト プーリ(20、21)、ベルトプーリの周囲を走行する歯付きベルト(19)、 および他の部分の負担において地帯の一部分を延長もしくは短縮するように配置 され、それに関連して前述の延長/短縮は要望する角変位が達成されるように実 行される従前に公開された種類の手段を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲1記載 の装置。
- 3.それぞれの補助ピストン(13、14、15、16)と前述の第二のクラン クシャフト(18)との間の操作連結は連接棒(13a〜16a)であり、そこ において第二のクランクシャフト(18)の回転軸は補助シリンダ(5〜8)の 中心軸を連結する想像線に関してAなる距離で平行に転置されており、それに関 連して転置は補助ピストンが補助シリンダへと進行する時に、第二のクランクシ ャフト(18)のクランクウエブが対面し合致する方向内で起ることを特徴とす る請求の範囲1に記載の装置。
- 4.前述の平行な転置の距離(A)は好ましくは補助シリンダの直径(B)の1 5〜35%の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求の範囲3記載の装置。
- 5.それぞれの補助ピストン(13〜16)および前述の第二のクランクシャフ ト(18)との間の操作連結は、既に公開された種類のロツカーアーム機構であ ることを特徴とする請求の範囲1記載の装置。
