Abstract

PURPOSE:To readily obtain artificial sand coincident to natural environment by boiling shells under heating to remove organic nitrogen compounds and pulverizing the shells. CONSTITUTION:Shells such as giant ezo-scallop are heated and boiled to remove organic nitrogen compounds attached to the shells. The treated shells are ground into 0.1-10mm particle diameters to give artificial sand not to change qualities of sea water and natural environment.

However, the method of mining sand and gravel from the mountain or using sand mined from the coast of other places causes environmental destruction of the mining area, and especially the method of mining sand and gravel from the mountain causes the PH of the seawater in the artificial sand pit to increase.
There are problems in that it affects water quality, changes the water quality environment, and makes it unsuitable for living organisms. In view of the current situation, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing artificial sand that does not cause deterioration of the water environment by using shells such as scallops, which are currently difficult to dispose of.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention manufactures artificial sand by heating and boiling shells such as scallops and then crushing them into fine particles. The heating and boiling means is 80°C to 120°C, preferably 90°C.
It is boiled in hot water at a temperature of 1 to 10 minutes, and then crushed into particles with a diameter of about 0.1 to 10 m+ using a crusher. The inventor put micronized scallop shells into seawater at 20°C and 50°C with a pH of 8.2, respectively, and determined the pH and C of the seawater.
When we measured the OD, total nitrogen content, chlorine content, etc., we found that the pH of the seawater slightly changed towards neutrality, and there was almost no change in the chlorine content, but the COD was 2.0/2. Q
The minimum seawater resistance is 4.8 ■/Ω, and the maximum is 15.0 ■/Ω.
12, and the total nitrogen content of seawater is 0.19■/Q, the lowest is 3.03■/Q, and the highest is 19.3■/ρ.
It has been confirmed that simply crushing shells to make artificial sand significantly deteriorates the quality of seawater. The inventor investigated these causes and found that nitrogen compounds in seaweed and microscopic shells attached to shells are CO2.
Considering that the values of D and nitrogen content were abnormally high, we conducted various tests and research on ways to easily remove these adhesion-resistant nitrogen compounds. The method of the present invention successfully removes nitrogen compounds such as organic matter and sterilizes seashells, making it suitable for use as artificial sand. The compounds are removed from the shells by heating and boiling, and the shells are also sterilized by heating, and the artificial sand made by atomizing the compounds does not adversely affect water quality.

[Example 1] Place shells such as scallops and oysters in a hot water tank at 80°C to 120°C, or continuously transfer them in a boiling water tank.
After heating and boiling for a short time of 0 minutes, it is taken out from the hot water tank or hot water bath, and washed with water as necessary, or without being washed, is crushed into a diameter of 0.1 to 1. onn
It is crushed into fine particles and made into artificial sand. The artificial sand produced by the method of the present invention can be laid on a beach to create an artificial beach, or it can be laid on top of a sludge sedimentation area to prevent its dissipation and improve the water quality environment. Effects of the Invention The present invention heats and boils scallops and other shells to remove seaweed and other organic nitrogen substances adhering to them, sterilizes the shells themselves, and then crushes and atomizes them to improve the quality of seawater. Artificial sand can be manufactured easily and at low cost without changing the natural environment or destroying the natural environment. In particular, it is possible to use artificial sand to create artificial beaches, contain sludge, etc. by using shells such as scallops and oysters, which are currently difficult to dispose of. It has excellent characteristics that allow it to be effectively used as sand.
