CONSTITUTION:A core 1 comprises a trunk part 2, an upper flange part 4, and a winding 5 is wound on the trunk part 2. There are formed on the bottom surface of the lower flange part 4 electrodes 6a, 6b, and grooves 4a, 4b where the electrodes 6a, 6b extend to an internal wall surface. Termination parts 5a, 5b of the winding 5 are pressed into the grooves 4a, 4b whereby the termination parts 5a, 5b are tentatively fixed to the electrodes 6a, 6b without using thermal bonding or soldering.

[Prior Art and Problems] Conventionally, this type of wire-wound inductor has been manufactured by thermocompression bonding, soldering, or welding of both ends of a winding wound around the body of the core to electrodes provided on the flange of the core. It was temporarily fastened by other means. However, temporary fixing using methods such as thermocompression bonding, soldering, and welding requires complicated work.
The problem was that it was time-consuming.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, embodiments of a wire-wound inductor according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In each embodiment, the same parts and portions are given the same reference numerals. [First embodiment, FIGS. 1 and 2] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the wire-wound inductor includes a body 2, an upper flange 3, and a lower flange 4 provided at both ends of the body 2. Core 1 consisting of
The winding 5 is wound around the body 2 of the core 1. Electrodes 6a and 6b formed by applying Ag paste or the like are provided on the left and right sides of the bottom surface of the lower flange portion 4. Electrodes 6a, 6
A part of b is two grooves 4a and 4b provided on the bottom surface of the lower collar portion 4.
It extends to the inner wall of the The width of the grooves 4a and 4b is slightly smaller than the diameter of the winding 5. Both terminal ends 5a, 5b of the winding 5 are press-fitted into the grooves 4a, 4b by a press machine or the like, and the terminal ends 5a, 5b are fitted onto the inner wall surfaces of the grooves 4a, 4b, respectively, without using means such as thermocompression bonding or soldering. It is temporarily fixed to the formed electrodes 6a and 6b. In this way, a wire-wound inductor is obtained in which the terminal ends 5a, 5b of the winding 5 can be easily temporarily fixed to the electrodes 6a, 6b provided on the lower flange 4 of the core 1, respectively. Moreover, since the terminal ends 5a and 5b of the winding 5 do not protrude from the bottom surface of the lower flange 4,
The bottom surface of the lower flange portion 4 can be used as a flat surface mounting surface.

[Second Embodiment, FIG. 3] As shown in FIG. 3,
In the wire-wound inductor of the second embodiment, the opening of the groove 4a is shaped like a mortar (the groove 4b is also shaped similarly) to facilitate press-fitting of the terminal end 5a (5b) of the winding 5. [Third Example, FIG. 4] The wire-wound inductor of the third example has a smaller opening area of the groove 4a provided in the lower flange 4 (
The groove 4b is also formed in a similar shape), and the terminal end portion 5a (5b) of the winding 5 press-fitted into the groove 4a (4b) is constructed to be difficult to come off.

[Other Embodiments] The wire-wound inductor according to the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, and can be modified in various ways within the scope of the gist. especially,
The shape of the groove may be arbitrary as long as it allows the terminal end of the winding to be easily press-fitted therein. Further, after such temporary fixing, it may be molded with resin.

As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the electrode is extended on the inner wall surface of the groove provided in the flange, and the terminal end of the winding is press-fitted into this groove. A wire-wound inductor is obtained in which the terminal end of the wire can be easily temporarily fixed to the electrode provided on the collar. Moreover, since means such as thermocompression bonding, soldering, or welding are not used for temporary fixing, manufacturing equipment may be simpler. Furthermore, since the terminal end of the winding does not protrude from the bottom surface of the flange, a flat surface mounting surface can be obtained and stable surface mounting can be achieved.
