【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、視力矯正用の眼鏡用プ
ラスチックレンズに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】眼鏡用プラスチックレンズは、メガネフ
レーム枠入れ前は、円形状が一般的である。
【０００３】ところで、プラスチックレンズの方向性の
必要となる作業内容としては、レンズの度数、乱視軸等
所謂、寸度を測定する時、レンズに色を付ける染色時、
特に、ハーフ染色、更にフレームにレンズを入れる枠入
れ時等が上げられる。
【０００４】又、特に累進多焦点レンズなどには、その
種別により、印刷をレンズ表面に付与する必要があり、
更に数種類のレンズが同時にある場合、レンズの区分け
を行う。以上のような理由から、容易にして、レンズの
方向性、レンズの種別、レンズ度数などがわかる必要が
ある。
【０００５】しかるに、従来の上記円形レンズ上には、
■方向を示すものが無い ■レンズの種別、度数を示すものが無いこのため、レン
ズメーター等の機器、あるいは、レンズと併行して付く
作業票、伝票等により、レンズの方向性、種別、度数等
を検出、対応していた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、上記の
従来のレンズでは、容易に方向性を見出すことができず
、更にレンズの種別などは、作業票、伝票等との照合が
必要であり、作業性が極めて悪いものである。場合によ
っては、方向性については、不良も発生することもあり
、作業票等の紛失時には、レンズの種別の対応さえ不可
能な時もある。
【０００７】そこで、本発明は、上記の問題を解決し、
各作業上での生産性向上とミスマッチを防ぐことを狙っ
たものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記の目的に没うべき本
発明は、 （１）眼鏡用プラスチックレンズに於いて、レンズの凹
面あるいは凸面の外周部に突起部を設けること。
【０００９】（２）該突起部にプラスチックレンズの種
別、度数等を記載すること。であり、これにより目的が
達成される。

【実施例】以下に、本発明の一実施例を図１、図２、図
３、図４により説明する。
【００１１】図３は、従来のレンズの凸面側から見た正
面図であり、図４は、その側面図である。この従来レン
ズに於いては、レンズの方向、種別、度数などは、容易
に見出すことができない。
【００１２】図１は、本発明の一実施例の凸面側から見
た正面図であり、図４は、その側面図である。図１に於
いて、１が突起部である。この突起部１により、該レン
ズの方向性が容易にしてわかる。たとえば、レンズの上
方向あるいは下方向などである。突起部１内には、記載
２が施されており、この記載の内容により、レンズの種
別、度数が容易に認識できる。
【００１３】突起部１の位置は、図１，２に於いては、
レンズ凸面側にあるがもちろん凹面側でも問題ない。 又、レンズ外周のいずれの位置でもよいが、フレーム形
状の特徴、すなわち、水平方向に比して、縦方向が短い
ことから、フレーム形状の上下方向に位置付けることが
望ましい。
【００１４】又、記載２で示されるレンズの種別として
は、商標あるいは、右用、左用などを示すものが望まし
い。度数としては、ベース度数、シリンダー度数、乱視
軸など望ましい。いずれにしろ、記載内容については、
特に限定されるものではない。

【発明の効果】以上の発明によれば、レンズの方向性、
種別、度数等が容易に見出せることができ、レンズから
フレームに枠入れされてメガネになるまでの作業性が向
上し、かつ不良発生の低減が図られる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】眼鏡用プラスチックレンズに於いて、レン
    ズの凹面あるいは凸面の外周部に突起部を設けることを
    特徴とする眼鏡用プラスチックレンズ。
  2. 【請求項２】該突起部にプラスチックレンズの種別、度
    数等を記載することを特徴とする請求項１記載の眼鏡用
    プラスチックレンズ。
