【発明の詳細な説明】
〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明は熱可塑性樹脂系複合材料の成形方法に関し、特
に、航空宇宙機器のパネル構造部品に適用できるもので
ある。

従来の成形の1例は、第8図(4)〜(I)のとおり、
電気ゴテ(又は超音波融着機)を用いて成形素材1を積
層成形し、次に油圧プレス装置を利用したホットプレス

より桁2.外板3をそれぞれ賦形し、ニブキシ樹脂系接
着剤4を用いオートクレーブ硬化して接着組立する(も
しくは、機械的にファスナを用い桁と外板を組立ている

従来技術による熱可塑性樹脂系複合材料の成形では、以
下の問題点を有する。

分的に接合しているため、積層体もち密に重なシ合わず

(2)成形形状がJ型形状桁のような複雑形状には、賦
形に高温高圧のオートクレーブ装置など高価な装置が必
要であシ、成形温度、圧力が高く(例えばポリエーテル
エーテルケトン〔P EEK ’:l系では、380〜
400℃、14〜30に9f/cIn2)、真空シール
技術も難かしい。

本発明は、熱可塑性樹脂系複合材料のノ臂ネル構造体な
どの複維形状構造体を成形する際に、まず成形素材をバ
ッグ材の間にセットして真空に引き、さらにヒータマッ
トで加熱して軟らかくなつた素材を、成形型上へ真空パ
ッギングを施し大気圧を利用して積層体を成形型に押し
つけ、真空賦形する。
どの複維形状構造体を成形する際に、まず成形素材をバ
ッグ材の間にセットして真空に引き、さらにヒータマッ
トで加熱して軟らかくなつた素材を、成形型上へ真空パ
ッギングを施し大気圧を利用して積層体を成形型に押し
つけ、真空賦形する。
次に、J型形状等の桁構造体は、分割治具に賦形した桁
構造要素を合体してホットプレス成形する。tた、真空
賦形した外板積層体をホットプレス成形する。

最後に、パネル構造体として接合するため、成形素材と

以下、本発明の一実施例を図を参照して説明する。
まず、熱可塑性樹脂系プリプレグを必要枚数積み重ねた
成形素材11を、−離型剤を塗布し九真空バッグ材12
で包み、端部を真空シール材13を用い真空バッギング
を行う。次に、成形素材11の真空Aツク体を成形型1
4上で真空シール材15を用いて真空バッギングできる
状態にする。

セットし、成形素材11の樹脂が溶融する温度まで加熱
する(第1図囚図示)。加熱後、第1図(B)のように
真空引きし、大気圧で積層を成形型14へ押し賦形を行
う。このとき、成形型14も加熱することKより賦形が
容品になる。

第3図は分割されたJ型形状桁の成形型を示し、この成
形型は2型賦形成形型17とコ型賦型成形型18とペー
ス成形型19から構成され、加圧成形面をすべて45’

によりファスナ結合すると同時に穴まわり全面を融着接

3と外板25の間に融着棒31をはさみ入れ、超音波加
熱30とエア圧の加圧により融着接合する場合を示す。

素繊維/PEEK材を使用し超音波加熱する場合、超音
波の周波数2 Q kHzで接合時間1秒以上で接合が
できる。

以上詳述した如く本発明によれば、繊維の乱れなく短時
間に積層でき、高温高圧オートクレーブ装置など高価な
成形装置を用いずに、複雑形状の構造材が経済的に成形
組立できる。また、真空賦形時、真空シール材が加熱さ
れることがないので、低コストでシール性の高い真空シ
ール材を使用でき、複雑形状の真空バッギングも容易と
なる。更に、接合組立に種々の融着棒を併用する融着接
合を行い、強度の高い接合が可能となる。

組立できる。また、真空賦形時、真空シール材が加熱さ
れることがないので、低コストでシール性の高い真空シ

なる。更に、接合組立に種々の融着棒を併用する融着接
合を行い、強度の高い接合が可能となる。

Claims (1)
- 成形素材をバッグ材の間にセットした後その間を真空
に引き、ヒータマットで加熱溶融させて成形型上にそれ
を真空バッキングし大気圧で真空賦形する工程と、分割
治具に真空賦形した成形素材を合体した後、ホットプレ
ス成形して桁構造体を形成する工程と、前記桁構造体と
別途ホットプレス成形して得られた外板とを融着棒によ
り加熱接合する工程とを具備することを特徴とする熱可
塑性樹脂系複合材料の成形方法。
