This electric wire connector 1 is constructed by housing a conductive plate 3 made of a copper alloy thin plate inside a main body 2 made of an insulating synthetic resin and formed into a substantially box shape. A wire insertion portion 5 having a wire insertion hole into which the wire 4 is inserted from above is provided at the top of the main body 2, and a quick-connect terminal formed by bending the conductive plate 3 faces the wire insertion hole. Further, a part of the conductive plate 3 protrudes downward from the lower surface of the main body 2 as a terminal portion 6, and the terminal portion 6 is inserted into a terminal insertion hole provided in a printed circuit board 7 and connected by soldering.

As shown in Fig. 10, it is difficult to insert the wire 4 unless the distance between the wire connectors 1 is widened to some extent. On the other hand, if the distance is too large, the size of the printed circuit board becomes large, and the wire connection device 1 is not inserted. There were problems such as that the portion 5 was close to the printed circuit board 7, making it difficult to insert the electric wire 4.

A side surface 10 opposite to this side surface 9 is formed slightly lower than the above-mentioned side surface 9, and the upper surface of the main body 2 is inclined approximately along the inclination of the wire insertion hole 8. Therefore, when placing the two wire connectors 1 and 1 adjacent to each other, as shown in FIG. The side surface 10 on the opposite side can be brought into substantially close contact with the side surface 10 on the opposite side. Then, a large number of wire connectors 1 can be arranged close to each other and attached to the printed circuit board 7 at a relatively high density, and the ease of inserting the wires 4 is not easily deteriorated.
