For example, a branch pipe joint 2 is joined to an arbitrary position of a main pipe M buried underground, a branch pipe is connected via the branch pipe joint 2, and the branch pipe is guided to a building B or the like. FIG. 4 is a perspective explanatory view showing an example of the branch pipe joint 2, in which the branch pipe joint 2 has a saddle portion 21 joined to the outer periphery of the main pipe 1 with an adhesive or the like.
and a branch pipe section 22 for connecting branch piping are integrally formed. In joining this branch pipe joint 2 to the main pipe 1, first, a through hole IA of a predetermined size is bored in the wall of the main pipe 1, and the area around the through hole IA and/or the saddle portion 21 is Adhesive is applied to the inner surface, the through hole IA and the lower opening of the branch pipe section 22 are aligned, and the saddle section 21 is placed over the adhesive application section 12, as shown in Fig. 5 (cross-sectional view).
The inner surface of the saddle portion 21 is fastened and fixed to the outer periphery of the main pipe 1 using a band member 9.9 shown in FIG. Reference numeral 23 designates a plurality of protrusions for positioning into the through hole IA, and a plurality of protrusions are provided to protrude from the inner surface of the saddle portion.

As shown, it has a half-split shape cut along a plane passing through the axis 0, and the central angle α of the lower opening (hereinafter simply referred to as the opening angle) is approximately 180 degrees. Therefore, when this is placed over the outer periphery of the woodwind 1, the band member 9.
9, unless a means of fastening and fixing it to the main pipe 1 is adopted.
It comes off easily from main pipe 1. For this reason, when installing the branch pipe joint 2, the soil should be removed so that the main pipe 1 is completely exposed, and the band member 9.
9 has to be done manually and requires a lot of effort, which is disadvantageous in that it takes a long time to work inside the excavated hole.

Even if the through hole IA does not have a predetermined shape, it may fit in, and the lower opening of the branch pipe portion 22 and the through hole IA may not match accurately.

When the cable W is inserted into the cable 2, the cable W is rubbed against the peripheral corner 11, which may damage the outer surface of the cable or the cable itself. Therefore, in order to prevent such inconvenience from occurring, it is necessary to perform chamfering as shown by the broken line 11a, which requires time and effort.

The gist is that the saddle is formed to have a thickness greater than the wall thickness of the tube, and the center angle of the opening of the saddle portion is formed in the range of 80 to 140 degrees.

The figure is a sectional view taken along the line III-IH in FIG. 1. The branch pipe joint 2 has a saddle part 21 and a branch pipe part 22 integrally formed, and a protrusion part 26 is provided on the inner surface of the top of the saddle part 21 at the base of the branch pipe part 22 . On the section side, the root part of the branch pipe part 22 is depressed inside the saddle part 21 to form the protrusion part 26, and the protrusion part 26 is connected to the pipe axis from one end in the pipe axis direction (the part indicated by reference numeral 26a). It is provided in a U-shape in the longitudinal direction (the part indicated by reference numeral 26b). The protruding portion 26 may be integrally formed as a thick inner portion during molding, or may be a separately molded member bonded to the inner surface of the saddle portion 21. Further, the range in which the protruding portion 26 is formed is arranged at least in a portion (a portion indicated by reference numeral 26a) where the cable contacts at one end in the tube axis direction,
Other portions around the through hole IA may be provided arbitrarily, and may extend over the entire circumference of the through hole. Furthermore, the arrangement shape of the protrusion 26 may be arbitrarily changed according to the size and shape of the through hole IA bored in the main pipe 1.

An opening 21A having an opening angle α centered at Constructed to exert appropriate gripping force. That is, by forming the above-mentioned opening angle α to be smaller than 140 degrees, when the outer peripheral surface of the woodwind 1 is covered with the saddle part 21, the lower edge of the saddle part 21 wraps around the woodwind 1, and the main pipe 1 This results in a strong gripping force. If the -opening angle α exceeds 140 degrees, the gripping force by the lower edge of the saddle becomes weak and the saddle does not come into close contact with the outer periphery of the main tube 1. The gripping force increases as the opening angle α becomes smaller, but if the opening angle α becomes too small, as shown in FIG. When covering the main pipe 1, it is necessary to increase the pressing force F, which makes the work difficult and
Accidents such as damage to the saddle portion 21 may also occur due to the forced expansion of 1A.
