Handwritten data input from the handwriting input touch panel 1 is recognized by the recognition means 4 via the control circuit 2. Then, the recognized results are input to the memory circuit 3 and displayed. In other words, handwritten input data is converted into a certain code and input into the memory circuit. It is then displayed through a character generator.

As a result, the recognition process itself requires a large load and is extremely expensive. If implemented in a mobile-sized electronic notebook, the processing speed is extremely slow, and even if input is done by hand, the results are slow to appear, making it extremely difficult to use as a product. That was a problem.

When that area is complete, I turn to the next page and write on it. It feels exactly the same as writing in a regular paper notebook. Besides that I! A diagram is shown in FIG. Furthermore, in the present invention, data written by hand is displayed on the display device, but as shown in Figure 3, it is very easy to send that data to a personal computer, and the data is recognized and aggregated by the personal computer. It's easy to do.

In conventional handwriting recognition, a large number of erroneous recognitions occur and it takes considerable time to correct them, but with the configuration of the present invention, there is no need for recognition processing because the electronic notebook itself does not perform recognition processing. As explained above, this can be done very easily by connecting to a computer, sending the data, and then having the computer do the recognition, data processing, etc.
