いて接着シールされた両側片と下壁片からなる一
端開放の上向きみぞ形部を交互に連続して形成し
た第１屈曲濾材と、みぞ形部の断面積を異ならせ
て形成した第２屈曲濾材を作成し、下向きみぞ形
部および上向きみぞ形部をそれぞれ一致させて平
板濾材を介して重ね合せ、みぞ形部断面積の小さ
い屈曲濾材の周りにみぞ形部断面積の大きい屈曲
濾材を配設してフイルタエレメントを形成し、該
フイルタエレメントを空気導入管および空気導出
管が設けられたケーシング内に収容した内燃機関
