Various paper cutters have been used for a long time, but in general, the sharpness and safety of the cutter are in a contradictory relationship, so if the edge of the paper cutter is made sharp, it may cause accidental injury to the tip of a finger while using it. This caused a safety problem.

In addition, the blade material of paper cutters for cutting paper is commonly made of steel materials such as carbon steel and stainless steel.Although the carbon steel blade material has good sharpness during cutting, it has a long lifespan. It has the disadvantage that the cutting edge becomes uncut due to wear and chemical corrosion due to prolonged use. Further, in the case of stainless steel blade material, although it is difficult to corrode, there is a problem that it cannot be resharpened when the blade edge becomes worn.

In other words, the paper cutter according to the present invention has a blade having a purity of 99% or more and a Mohs hardness of 8 or more.
An Al 2 O 3 single crystal plate is used, and one edge of the blade has a pure square blunt point, and the blade is insert molded near one corner of the main body made of synthetic resin plates of various flat shapes. Alternatively, the blade is inserted and fixed, and the obtuse cutting edge slightly protrudes from one edge of the main body during insert molding or insertion and fixation. Further, the main body is constructed such that a transparent window of a desired shape is provided on the surface where the blade insert is located, and the blade is exposed through the transparent window.

The paper cutter according to the present invention places the paper to be cut on a relatively hard board, such as a plastic board, and cuts the paper under pressure between the cutter and the cutting edge. Therefore, the cutting edge of the blade protruding from the main body is extremely small and has an obtuse angle, so relatively hard materials such as paper can be cut depending on the difference in hardness of the material, but human skin When it comes into contact with something like this, the soft nature of the skin causes the blade tip to recede, preventing injury from being cut.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a main body in the shape of a parallelogram flat plate molded from synthetic resin, and design holes 2 and 3 are formed in the main body 1 as necessary. Reference numeral 4 denotes a blade body that is insert-molded and integrated into the wall thickness near one corner of the main body 1, and the blade body 4 is made from an α-Al 2 O 3 single crystal plate with a purity of 99% or more and a Mohs hardness of 8 or more. An obtuse-angled cutting edge 5 is formed at one end of the edge of the blade body 4, and the obtuse-angled cutting edge 5 protrudes slightly (0.5 to 1.0 mm) from one edge of the main body 1. Further, a transparent window 6 having an appropriate shape such as a heart shape or a diamond shape is provided on one side of the main body at the insert position of the blade body 4, and the insert portion of the blade body 4 is exposed through the transparent window 6. It becomes like this.

According to the above configuration, the cutting edge 5 is formed at an obtuse angle and is provided in a slightly protruding state from the edge of the main body 1, so that even if the cutting edge 5 is exposed, it will not injure the skin or the like. In addition, when cutting paper, etc., the paper is compressed and cut between relatively hard floor plates such as plastic plates due to the hardness difference due to the high hardness of the blade 4, so the blade edge 5 is obtuse-angled. It also exhibits excellent sharpness and maintains its sharpness for a long period of time because it hardly causes any wear. Furthermore, the blade body 4 exposed through the transparent window 6,
The transparent color of the beautiful shape is formed by the transmitted light of the blade body 4, and it has an innovative design.Since the blade body 4 does not undergo deterioration such as oxidation, it can be used for many years. Initial transparency can be maintained.

In this embodiment, the blade body 4 is integrated into the main body 1 by insert molding, but an insertion hole for inserting the blade body 4 into the main body 1 is pre-drilled. It is also possible to integrate them by means such as adhesion. Further, in this embodiment, the shape of the main body 1 and the shape of the transparent window 6 are specified and illustrated, but it goes without saying that these shapes can be designed arbitrarily.
