[Conventional technology] Conventionally, contact lenses (hereinafter referred to as CL)
When handling CL, for example, when inserting or removing CL from a storage container, you may pinch the CL with your fingers. However, if this is done, there is a problem that the CL may be soiled by dirt from the fingertips or the CL may be damaged by the fingernails.

[Problem that the invention aims to solve] However, in this case, although there is little dirt,
Especially when grasping CL (especially high water content SCL)
When gripping the CL with force so as not to drop it, traces of the tweezers remain on the surface of the CL, which causes a problem of unstable vision. Furthermore, it may damage the CL surface and cause damage.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The ophthalmic lens tweezers of the present invention include a bent portion, a pair of rod-shaped barrel portions whose rear ends are continuous through the bent portion, and a distal end of the barrel portion. A pair of tweezers used when handling ophthalmic lenses, consisting of a tip formed on each side, with a shore hardness (D) of 70 or less and a flexural modulus of 300 to 1500.
It is made of a water-free soft material with a weight of Kg/cm 2 and is characterized in that the tip is thin and rounded.

It is a water-free soft material that does not easily get dirty, and in particular, elastomer resins such as polybutadiene, polyisobutylene, polyisoprene, polyester, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, fluorocarbon, and silicone are preferred.

The hardness of the material is set to Shore hardness (D) of 70 or less. If it is about 70 or more, it is not preferable because it will cause tweezers marks or scratches on the surface of the ophthalmic lens (hereinafter referred to as the lens).

However, in order to reduce the force applied to the body 2 and not affect the lens, the tip 3 has a thickness L of the body 2.
The wall thickness M of the tip portion 3 is made thinner than that of the tip portion 3. In particular, it is preferable that the wall thickness M of the tip portion 3 is 1/2 or less of the wall thickness L of the body portion 2. Furthermore, the shape of the tip 3 is rounded (cornered) so that it is less likely to be scratched even if it comes into contact with an ophthalmic lens. Especially the first
A ring shape as shown in the figure, a spherical shape as shown in FIG. 2, and a disk shape as shown in FIG. 3 are preferable from the viewpoint of ease of manufacture.

Further, even if force is applied when grasping, the lens itself may be bent outward from the middle of the body 2, as shown in FIG. 4, so that the force does not exceed a certain level on the lens itself.
A protruding clasp 4 may be provided on the back side of the tweezers as shown in FIG. The position of the fastening part 4 is preferably near the center of the body part 2 since it functions as a fastening part, but there is no problem if it is not near the tip part 3 or near the bent part 1.

Further, an anti-slip part such as a jagged or warty part may be provided to prevent fingers from slipping when applying force to the body part 2 and handling the lens.

After maintaining this state for one minute, the condition of the lens was observed with the naked eye, and it was found that the contact lens of Example 1 that had been clamped with the tweezers had a clean lens surface without any marks. On the other hand, marks remained on the contact lens of Comparative Example 1 which was held with tweezers.
