<Prior art> Conventionally, it has been known to interpose a cushioning layer such as a sponge rubber band between the leather panel forming the surface and the tube in an air-filled competition leather-covered ball (Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 30-10612). No., Jikko 33-
No. 11935, Utsuko No. 36-25331, etc.). However,
In the case of such conventionally known balls, even if the leather panel is bonded to a lower layer, such as a thread-wound reinforcing layer, through a buffer layer, or even if the leather panel is directly bonded to the thread-wound reinforcing layer, the panel It has a structure that is limited to an extremely small area such as the periphery. Therefore, the shock applied to the ball causes a problem in that the buffer layer, which has the weakest mechanical strength, is first torn and the leather panel peels off.

<Problems to be solved by the invention> This invention realizes a leather-covered ball that has a shock-absorbing thin film inside to provide shock-reducing effect and at the same time improves the adhesive strength of the leather panel. It is something.

<Means for Solving the Problems> In the leather-covered ball according to the present invention, the leather panel has an inclined thin section formed around the periphery and a predetermined width formed inside the inclined thin section. It is composed of an adhesive reinforcing part, a thin part surrounded by the adhesive reinforcing part, and a thin cushioning film loaded into the thin part.

<Function> The leather panel is directly adhesively fixed to the rubber interlining layer at least at its inclined thinner portion and adhesive reinforcement portion. In particular, the leather panel is firmly adhered to the rubber interlining layer by adhesion using the adhesive reinforcing portion. on the other hand,
The region of the leather panel surrounded by the bonded reinforcing portion is formed thinly, and a thin cushioning film is loaded in this thin portion, so that the impact applied to the ball is absorbed and alleviated by the thin film.

<Example> Hereinafter, an example in which the present invention is applied to volleyball will be described. In Figures 1 to 3, 1
2 is a spherical rubber tube expanded by enclosing gas, and 2 is a thread-wound reinforcing layer formed by wrapping approximately 3000 m of nylon thread around the surface of the rubber tube 1. Incidentally, instead of this thread-wound reinforcing layer 2, a piece of cotton cloth may be attached to form the reinforcing layer. 3 is a rubber insert layer formed on the thread-wound reinforcing layer 2; 4, 4...
is a leather panel covered with this rubber insert layer 3 and fixed with adhesive. These leather panels 4, 4...
is adhered by being placed and pressed on the surface of the rubber interlining layer 3 to which an adhesive has been applied in advance. Reference numeral 5 denotes an inclined thin part formed by reducing approximately 3 mm to 5 mm around the back side of the leather panel 4, 6 indicates an adhesive reinforcement part provided with a width of about 5 mm inside this inclined thin part 5, and 7
is a thin part surrounded by this adhesive reinforcing part 6,
The reduction is formed simultaneously with the formation of the above-mentioned inclined thin portion 5. 8 is supported with adhesive by a thin cushioning film loaded in the thin part 7, but this is not supported by the leather panel 4.
This is to make the gluing work easier, and temporary fixing is sufficient. As the material for this buffer material thin film 8, commercially available shock absorbing rubber can be used. As shown in FIG. 3, the total thickness of the buffer material thin film 8 and the thin wall portion 7 is approximately equal to the thickness of the adhesive reinforcing portion 6.

In the above example, the leather panel 4 is adhered to the rubber interlining layer 3 on its entire back surface, but it goes without saying that the adhesion of the cushioning thin film 8 portion contributes to strengthening the fixation of the leather panel 4 itself. Since it is difficult, adhesion in this part may be unnecessary. That is, the inclined thin part 5
It is sufficient to adhere to the rubber interlining layer 3 at the adhesive reinforcing section 6 and the adhesive reinforcing section 6. In this case, the adhesive is applied to the rubber interlining layer 3 by applying the adhesive to the inclined thin section 5 of the leather panel 4 and the adhesive reinforcing section 6. Only the corresponding position needs to be done.

FIG. 4 shows an example in which the rubber interlining layer 3 is formed into a tape shape only in the portions corresponding to the inclined thin portions 5 and the adhesive reinforcing portions 6 of the leather panel 4. leather panel 4
is adhered to the rubber insert layer 3 at its inclined thin portion 5 and adhesive reinforcement portion 6 via an adhesive.
With such a structure, the amount of rubber in the rubber inner layer 3 is reduced, so the weight of the ball can be reduced. Also in this example, the cushioning material thin film 8 is the thin part 7 of the leather panel 4.
Alternatively, it may be sufficient to be temporarily fixed to the bobbin reinforcing portion 5.

Since the leather panel is bonded directly to the rubber interlining layer mainly by the bond reinforcing portion provided near the periphery of the leather panel, the bonding strength can be made sufficiently strong to withstand impact. Furthermore, the existence of such an adhesive reinforcing portion eliminates the need for adhesion in the buffer material thin film loading area surrounded by the adhesive reinforcing portion, and prevents deterioration of the feel due to hardening of the adhesive conventionally applied to this area.

The roughly central part of the leather panel is made thin over a wide area, and this thin part is filled with a thin film of cushioning material, so the impact applied to the ball is
This buffer material thin film absorbs and relaxes to some extent.
Therefore, it is possible to relieve the pain caused by a collision with the hand or the like.

When the cushioning material thin film is loaded into the thin wall part, the total thickness of both is approximately equal to the thickness of the adhesive reinforcement part, that is, the thickness of the leather panel before scraping. ), the ball maintains its spherical shape as a whole.

Although the thin cushioning film is placed on the bottom surface of the leather panel, the thickness from the tube to the surface of the leather panel is the same as that of a conventional ball. Therefore, there is no change in the tactile sensation when a ball is impacted due to an increase in thickness.

Since the cushioning material thin film is disposed in the thin part formed by removing the back surface of the leather panel, the weight is reduced by the amount of the removed leather panel, and the weight increase due to the cushioning material thin film can be suppressed to a low level.
