ロツクできるロツク機構を備えた複写装置に関す

るとともに給紙ユニツトを給紙位置から非給紙位
置に引出し可能にしたものが知られていた。この
給紙ユニツトを引出し式にすることはユーザーサ
イドで簡単にジヤム用紙の取出しができる点で優
れていたが、給紙ユニツトをその給紙位置におけ
るロツクするロツク機構には給紙ユニツトを押し
込んで自動的にロツクする必要がある。しかしな
がら前記ロツク機構は、給紙ユニツト側に支点を
中心に揺動するレバーと、該レバーと作用点を介
して係合する固定式の本体側ロツク手段からなつ
ていたため、前記レバーの揺動に支障がないよう
に、前記作用点においてクリアランスを大きく設
けなければならなかつた。このため、給紙ユニツ
ト挿入後でのガタができることは避けられず、給
紙位置が変動することがあり得た。本来、給紙ユ
ニツトは感光体ドラムに形成されたトナー画像に

うにしたロツク機構を備えた複写装置を提供する

非給紙位置に引出し式になつている複写装置にお
いて、 前記ユニツト5の枠上に支点26を有し、か
つ、バネ27により付勢されて前記支点26とほ
ぼ同じレベルに位置する係合ピン21を有する第
1揺動レバー20を、 前記バネ27の付勢に抗して回動できるように
把手20′と一体的に設けるとともに、 前記給紙ユニツト5が非給紙位置から給紙位置
に収納されるのに応じて前記係合ピン21により
回動され、 しかる後に該係合ピン21と係合する係合部2
