Traditional veneer lace cutlery has a thickness of 10mm to 16
It is an expensive large size with a blade width (height) of about 180 mm.
The workability of replacement is extremely poor, and in addition to just the wear of the cutting edge, when the cutting edge is locally damaged by metals, stones, etc. mixed into the raw wood, it is necessary to resharpen the entire blade to make it sharper. Therefore, maintenance and management were generally difficult.

On the other hand, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-9876, the present applicant has previously proposed a special cutter device consisting of a combination of a replaceable blade and a replaceable blade support blade that are smaller than ordinary cutlery. , aimed at improving cutting performance, as well as simplifying maintenance and management and reducing costs. However, as a means of holding the small-sized disposable blade, a so-called tightening holding method, in which the small-sized disposable blade is tightened to the disposable blade support blade, is used. Because this method is adopted, a sufficient holding force cannot necessarily be obtained, and the more the size is significantly reduced in order to reduce costs, the more unstable the holding becomes.

The present invention was developed to eliminate the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks and to enable the use of a replaceable blade (hereinafter simply referred to as a replaceable blade) that is significantly smaller than a normal cutler. is composed of a replaceable blade and a cutter holder that holds the replaceable blade, and the tip of the cutter holder is formed into a tapered shape, and an insertion groove for the replaceable blade is formed in the center of the tip. The tip part is divided into two parts so that at least one side has a tapered cantilever shape that can be elastically deformed, and the part corresponding to the tip of the insertion groove is thicker than the groove width of the insertion groove. This is a cutter device characterized by being press-fitted into an insertion groove.

According to the cutter device configured as described above, since the tip of the cutter holder is tapered, the cutter holder can be brought extremely close to the cutting position, and therefore the replaceable blade itself is different from a normal cutter. Not only can it be easily held even though it is extremely small in comparison, but it is also press-fitted into the insertion groove and held elastically by the tapered beam-shaped side wall that is elastically deformable on at least one side. It becomes possible to stably hold the spare blade.

Therefore, if the cutting edge of a replacement blade becomes worn or locally damaged, it is sufficient to replace it with a new one, which reduces costs and makes maintenance and management much easier and more effective than before. It is.

Reference numeral 4 denotes a blade holder, in which the tip is formed into a tapered shape as shown in the figure, and an insertion groove 5 for a replacement blade is formed in the center of the tip, so that side walls 5c on both sides of the tip can be elastically deformed. The insertion groove 5 is divided into two parts so that it has a tapered cantilever shape, and the insertion groove 5 is formed so that the groove width l1 near the entrance 5a reaches the bottom surface 5b.
It is formed uniformly.

For example, the cutter device according to the present invention is configured in this way, and by press-fitting the replaceable blade 3 into the insertion groove 5 of the cutter holder 4, the cutter device can be installed on both sides at the position indicated by the dotted line, as is clear from FIG. The side wall of the cutter holder 4 is elastically deformed as shown by the solid line.Since the tip of the cutter holder 4 is tapered, as is clear from FIG. 1, the cutter holder 4 can be moved extremely close to the cutting position. Therefore, the replaceable blade 3 itself is not only easily held even though it is significantly smaller than a normal blade, but also has a tapered beam that can be press-fitted into the insertion groove 5 and can be elastically deformed on both sides. Since the shaped side walls 5c clamp the blade elastically, it is possible to stably hold the replaceable blade 3 as a result.

As for the specific dimensions of the replaceable blade, its thickness is preferably in the range of 0.8 to 6 mm, and the height of the cutting blade protruding from the insertion groove is preferably about 2 to 6 mm.
The range is 16 mm (more preferably 4 to 9 mm), but in any case, if necessary, for example, as illustrated in FIG. It is reasonable because each part can be replaced, and furthermore, it is possible to replace each part of the blade holder 4a, 4b, 4.
Using c is convenient because the insertion groove can be easily machined.

Further, in the above embodiment, the side walls on both sides of the tip of the blade holder are divided into two so that they can be elastically deformed, and a slope is provided on both sides of the replaceable blade so that the side walls on both sides can be elastically deformed. However, as illustrated in FIG. 5, for example, the tip of the blade holder 4 is divided into quarters somewhat unevenly, and the maximum thickness X is provided only on one side of the replaceable blade 3 corresponding to the relatively thin side wall. It is possible to provide a slope so that mainly only one side wall is elastically deformed, or, for example, as illustrated in FIG. 6, the groove width l at the bottom surface 5b is wider than the groove width l1 near the entrance 5a. An insertion groove 5 is formed in the blade holder 4, and a replacement blade (not shown) whose base thickness is equal to the groove width l of the bottom surface 5b of the insertion groove 5 and is uniform throughout is press-fitted into the blade holder 4. There is no problem even if the side wall is elastically deformed, and in short, as long as at least one side wall can be elastically deformed, there is no problem in holding the replaceable blade.

In addition, as in the above embodiment, when setting the thickness of the base of the replaceable blade toward the cutting edge thicker for the insertion groove with a uniform groove width, from the viewpoint of ease of insertion, It is preferable to increase the thickness by a slope, and if μ is the coefficient of friction between the replaceable blade and the blade holder, the slope is at an angle (approximately 6 to 8 degrees) corresponding to the value of θ found by μ = tanθ. This is preferable because the frictional force generated during press-fitting acts most effectively and it is difficult to slip out, but there is no practical problem even if the angle is before or after that, and it is not necessarily limited to a slope.

Incidentally, assuming that the height of the base 3b of the replaceable blade 3 is 10 mm,
If a slope of 6° is formed on both sides from a 5 mm center position, there will be a difference in thickness of about 0.5 mm on one side and about 1 mm on both sides, and the side walls on both sides of the tip of the blade holder 4 will be made by this difference. 5c is elastically deformed. Next, the relationship between the elastic deformation (bending) and force will be explained in more detail.

In the figure, e is the deflection line of the right side wall in the example of FIG. 4, h is the deflection line of the left side wall, and each side wall has the maximum thickness of the slope formed on the disposable blade. It is bent by a length X and has already been displaced to the position Y, and is holding the replaceable blade with a reaction force (stress) f1 corresponding to the displacement.

In this state, for example, when an external force f2 is applied to the right side wall from the log while cutting the raw wood, the right side wall will further bend by X from the Y point, but the right side wall is initially at the origin. (when it is in the position shown by the solid line in Fig. 4 from the beginning), it should be deflected by 2X in response to the external force f2. It will be easily understood that it can be maintained stably by only 1/2.

Figure 9 shows an example of the deflection line m of the right side wall in the example of Figure 4, with point Y as a reference (according to the actual situation that has already been bent due to press-fitting), and the external force f2
Since the deflection due to the external force f1 is X, this shows that the deflection due to the external force f1 is X/2.
