Abstract

PURPOSE:To widen a lateral or rear visual field by connecting the upper parts of right and left lenses by a lens frame, curving the lens frame backward in the upper part of lenses and connecting the curved ends to temple parts. CONSTITUTION:The lens frame 2 is provided with the curved parts 2a which lightly bent backward from the part slightly near the outer part of the center of the lenses 3, 3 and extend backward from the top and bottom of the lenses 3, 3. The rear end parts 2b of the curved parts 2a are connected to the temple parts 4, 4. The curved parts 2a are so constituted that the curved parts extend backward from the top and bottom of the lenses 3, 3 and are connected at the rear ends thereof to a piece of the temple parts 4, 4 of the spectacles. The temple parts of the spectacles do not, therefore, enter the lateral visual field and since the lens frame does not exist laterally, the lateral extension of the lenses is possible as well. The lateral visual field is widened in this way.

The present invention aims to solve the above-mentioned problems and to obtain glasses with a wide lateral or rear field of view, which is particularly suitable for using lenses with reflective surfaces, and the upper parts of the left and right lenses are connected by a lens frame. At the same time, the lens frame is bent backwards at the top of the lens, and the bent end is connected to the eyeglass tendon.

Since there is no lens frame or eyeglass tendon on the side of the eyeball, the lens can be expanded laterally than the conventional eyeglass tendon position, further expanding the wearer's lateral field of vision. It is effective for those that have a reflective mirror treatment on the outer end for viewing the rear.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described with reference to the illustrated embodiment. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes eyeglasses according to the present invention, and a lens frame 2 supports the inner halves of left and right lenses 3.3. The lens frame 2 is slightly bent rearward at an angle of about 30 degrees from the center of the lens 3.
.. 3 is provided with a triangular bent part 2a extending rearward from the top and bottom of the frame 3 and converging into one piece as it goes backward, and the rear end of the bent part 2a, that is, the bent end 2b, is connected to the glasses ridge part 4.4.
It is connected to. Therefore, the bent portion 2a extends rearward from above and below the lens 3.3, and is connected at its rear end to one eyeglass ridge 4.4. 2c is a nose holder provided in the lens frame 2 as in the conventional case, and
It is meant to be received through the nose. In this embodiment, the entire structure from the lens frame 2 to the eyeglass ridge 4.4 is integrally molded from a hard synthetic resin, but the lens frame 2 and the eyeglass ridge 4.4 may be formed separately. Of course, it is also possible to mold them into shapes and connect them with a hinge (not shown) in the conventional manner so that the eyeglass ridges 4.4 can be folded. Further, the portions 2d, 2d of the lens frame 2 supporting the lower side of the lens 3.3 and the portion 2e forming one side of the lower side of the bent portion 2a are requirements for increasing the rigidity of the glasses 1, and are necessary for increasing the rigidity of the glasses 1. In terms of configuration, this is not an essential requirement and may be omitted.

In this embodiment, there are no obstacles on the left and right lenses 3.3 outward from the connecting portion between the lens frame 2 and the bent portion 2a.

Furthermore, the lens 3.3 is formed in a horizontally elongated shape extending slightly outward from the lens frame 2, and its outer end is treated with a reflective surface as shown by hatching A in FIG. . That is, the outer ends of the left and right lenses 3.3 are mirrors.

Therefore, in this embodiment, the rear scenery and information reach the eyeballs through the optical path indicated by the arrow in the figure, so the wearer can grasp the scenery and objects behind him within his field of vision while gazing forward. Conversely, you can keep the situation in front of you within your field of vision while keeping your eyes on the rear.

As described above, this invention connects the upper parts of the left and right lenses by a lens frame, and the lens frame is bent backward at the upper part of the lens, and the bent end is connected to the eyeglass ridge, so that the eyeglasses can be easily attached. The vines do not come into the lateral field of view. Further, since the lens frame does not exist on the side, it is possible to make the lens project sideways, which has the effect of enlarging the lateral field of view.
