Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily produce growth ringlike pattern on the surface of a molded body and make the simultaneous manufacturing of a plurality of the molded bodies possible by a method wherein extrusion-molded body is formed by charging pattern forming sub-stock consisting of pigment together with main stock from a stock charging part ad, after that, sliced in a plurality of layers so as to produce sheet-like molded bodies. CONSTITUTION:In addition to the main stock charging hopper of a screw extruder, its pattern forming stock charging hopper 2 is provided. Outside the mouthpiece 6 of the extruder, a slicing device 8, which slices green sheet of extrusion-molded body 7 before hardening, is provided so as to slice the body 7 into two sheets of sheet-like molded bodies 9. Main stock consists of clay, kaolin, feldspar and water and is charged to a stock charging hopper after they are dry-mixed and wet-kneaded. Sub-stock consists of in-mixing pigment and is charged from a sub-stock charging hopper. In the cross-section of the molded body 7, growth ringlike pattern is seen, while its outer appearance is the same as what is molded out of only the main stock.

[Prior Art 1 Extrusion molding has been widely used as a method for manufacturing building materials and the like. This method is suitable for uniformly manufacturing molded bodies having the same cross-sectional shape. Further, by changing the shape of the cap, it is possible to manufacture molded bodies with various cross-sectional shapes, and the length can also be arbitrarily selected.

In this molding method, increasing the extrusion molding speed may be considered in order to improve manufacturing efficiency, but increasing the speed may cause defects such as cracks in the molded product, so there is a limit to increasing the molding speed. .

Furthermore, the present inventors conducted research on the behavior of the inorganic plastic material, which is the molded article of the present invention, in an extrusion molding machine using a screw extruder, and took out the plastic material and examined its density distribution and orientation. . As a result, they found that the density increases from the center toward the outer periphery, and that the orientation is "helical", perhaps due to the characteristics of screw extrusion.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, and employs the following method. That is, a pattern-forming auxiliary material consisting of pigment is charged in parallel and uniformly with the main raw material from the raw material charging port to form an extrusion molded body of the raw material, and the extruded molded body is sliced into multiple layers to be molded into multiple plate shapes. This is a method for patterning an extrusion molded body, which is characterized by forming a plate-shaped body and causing a mixed pattern of main raw materials and auxiliary raw materials to appear on the sliced surface of the plate-shaped molded body.

[Function 1] According to the present invention, the pattern is formed inside the molded body and not on the surface of the molded body. This is because, during extrusion molding of raw materials, the density of the extruded product increases from the center to the outer periphery, and the main raw material and pattern-forming auxiliary materials are completely mixed in and around the high-density outer periphery. I can't make a pattern because it's done. In addition, the main raw material and the pattern-forming auxiliary raw material are not completely mixed in and around the center where the density is low, making it possible to form a tree ring-like pattern on the cross section of the molded product (vertical surface of the die). By slicing the molded product into multiple layers, it is possible to form a wood-grain pattern or a board-grain pattern on the sliced surface depending on the location. This pattern can be changed by changing the screw extrusion speed.

The present invention also improves productivity by increasing the number of sheets to be sliced, and also allows products with patterns formed on only one side and those with patterns formed on both sides to be obtained. By combining them, it is expected that they can be used in a variety of ways.

After dry mixing and wet mixing for 20 minutes each, the main raw material charging hopper 1 of the extrusion molding machine was charged to the raw material charging hopper 5 via the belt conveyor 3. . Further, as the auxiliary raw material, a commercially available pigment for kneading (blue) was used as it was, and was charged from the auxiliary raw material charging hopper 2 to the raw material charging hopper 5 via the charging blade 8.

[Effect of the invention 1] The present invention makes it possible to easily create a tree-ring-like pattern on the surface of a molded product by simply adding a simple auxiliary material charging device and a slicing device for the extruded product to a conventional screw extruder. Furthermore, since a plurality of molded bodies can be manufactured at the same time, the productivity of molded bodies can be improved.
