Conventional touch input devices of this type include those shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, for example. A plurality of strip-shaped first transparent conductors (ITO films) 1 are arranged in parallel at predetermined intervals on the upper surface, and a substrate member 2 made of a highly rigid insulating substrate such as a transparent glass plate, and a lower surface A plurality of strip-shaped second transparent conductors (ITO films) 3 are arranged in parallel at predetermined intervals, and a flexible and elastic transparent insulating film member 4 is sandwiched between the waterproof seals 5. The transparent conductors 1 and 3 are arranged in an intersecting manner with a gap between them such that they do not come into contact with each other, and a first lead lead-out portion is formed to extend laterally of the insulating film member 4. A first conductor lead 7 having a pattern formed on the lower surface of the first conductor lead 7 and the first transparent conductor 1 are electrically connected via a transfer member 8 formed by printing and firing a silver paste. It is something. Note that the insulating film member 4
The second transparent conductor 3 applied to the lower surface of the insulating film member 4 and the lower surface of the second lead lead-out portion 9 extending laterally of the insulating film member 4 are patterned by baking silver paste. 2 conductor lead 10
is electrically connected when the second conductor lead 10 is fired. Reference numeral 11 indicates a connector connected to leads 7 and 10.

That is, in the touch type input device of this embodiment, the periphery of the transfer member 8 that electrically connects the first transparent conductor 1 and the first conductor lead 7 is made of, for example, epoxy resin. The transfer member 8 is surrounded by an insulating wall member 12 of
In addition, a sealing member 13 made of a reinforcing adhesive is provided around the insulating wall member 12 and on the outer periphery of the facing surface of the substrate member 2 and the film member 4. , it is something that has been intervened. Therefore, even if the transfer member 8 is made of a material that is easily destroyed by an external force such as an impact force, such as a fired body of silver paste, the transfer member 8 can be easily damaged by the wall member 12 surrounding the transfer member 8. As a result, the shape retention of the transfer member is improved. Further, the substrate member 2 is provided with a sealing member 13 interposed between the periphery of the wall member 12 and the outer periphery of the facing surfaces of the substrate member 2 and the film member 4.
Due to the adhesive force (suction force) between and the film member 4,
The contact force between the transfer member 8, the first conductor lead 7, and the first transparent conductor 1 is increased, which has the effect of improving the reliability of electrical connection.

As described above, the present invention includes the insulating substrate member 2 having high rigidity, and the substrate member 2 which is formed larger than the substrate member 2 and leaving the first lead extraction part 6 and the second lead extraction part 9. A flexible and elastic insulating film member 4 is disposed oppositely on the substrate member 2 at a predetermined interval, and on the upper surface of the substrate member 2, one or more strip-shaped first conductors 1 are arranged. At the same time, on the lower surface of the film member 4, a single or plural second conductor 3 is arranged so as to intersect with the first conductor 1 and form a switch section at the intersection. and a second conductor lead 10 continuous to the second conductor 3;
A first conductor lead 7 facing the first conductor 1 is formed, and each end of the first conductor lead 7 and the second conductor lead 6 is The first conductor 1 extends to the first lead pull-out part 6 and the second lead pull-out part 9.
and the first conductor lead 7 are electrically connected to each other via a transfer member 8 formed by printing and firing a conductive paste. An insulating wall member 12 is provided to prevent the transfer member 8 from deforming, and a reinforcing adhesive is applied around the wall member 9 and the outer periphery of the facing surface of the substrate member 2 and the film member 4.
