Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize a medium set near a sliding part over a wide range and to effectively prevent the occurrence of spacing between a magnetic head and the medium by providing a stabilizer having a surface part around the magnetic head in order to stabilize the medium. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizer 16 having a surface part 16a opposite to medium 7 is provided around a shielding ring 5 of a magnetic head 1 of a lower magnetic head device 1b. Then the device 1b is combined with an upper magnetic head device 1a, and both devices are fixed together with a fixing screw 15. Thus a magnetic head is obtained. In such a way, a recording or reproducing operation is carried out and therefore the waving vibration of the medium 7 are suppressed via the part 16a of the stabilizer 16. Then the medium 7 set near a sliding part is stabilized over a wide range and the spacing cause between the head 1 and the medium 7 can be effectively suppressed.

に小型化及び大容積化が進んできており、これに応じて
記録の高岩度化が要求されており、このためには磁気ヘ
ッドの磁気ギャップの幅を狭くするのが有利な方法であ
ることがわかっている。しかし、前記ギャップ幅を狭く
すると磁気記録媒体(以下媒体という)と磁気ヘッドと
の間l!iI(以下スペーシングという)の大きさの変
化が磁気ヘッドの出力の変化として大きく現れる。この
ため磁気ヘッドと媒体との接触状態が重要となり、安定
してスペーシングを小さく抑えることが必要とされる。

れぞれと媒体7との間にスペーシングが発生し、その結
果、装置の記録再生特性が著しく劣化してしまうという
問題点があった。

気ヘッドの出力特性の向上および安定化を図り、磁気記
録再生を効率良く良好に安定して行なえる磁気記録再生
装置を得ることを目的とする。

達成しようとするものである。

がある。また、押圧も軽減できることから媒体の損傷を
防ぐことができるなどの優れた磁気記録再生装置が得ら
れる効果がある。
