Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an address printer without any necessity for inputting an address data on a keyboard by a method wherein a magnetic card reader which reads a data magnetically recorded on a magnetic card, a memory which stores the read data, a keyboard for operation, and a printer are provided. CONSTITUTION:A data read with a magnetic card reader 11 is inputted to a microcomputer 1 via an interface 9, is processed according to a command from a keyboard 2, and is stored in a RAM 4. Further, a data can be inputted and stored in the RAM 4 also on the keyboard 2. The data stored in the RAM 4 is transferred to a floppy disk and further, the data stored in the floppy disk can be appropriately called back to the RAM 4 and used. The data stored in the RAM 4 is converted into a vertical or horizontal writing font structure data for a postcard, an address seal, an envelope, etc. by operating the keyboard 2, and is sent to a printer 13 to be printed.
